-- Mavi - A Tribute To M & M's incl. Yunus Vs. Subsky Remix [Release Records]
Mavi - A Tribute To M & M's incl. Subsky's Solid Mix [Release Records]
Yunus brings another tune under his Mavi alias with a massive remix
.
The original mix is a groovy prog tune with some house elements. The tune keeps a repetitive pace for the most of it without truly reaching a peak point. Didn't really liked it 6.5/10
The b-side is a cool breakbeat interpretation with synths that remind me a bit of Luke Chable's remix of Dreamer 10/10
A. Original Mix
B. Subsky's Solid Mix
OMFG! I must have this!
unuseful info: mavi is blue in turkish (and yunus is turkish himself)
pretty good release...nothing amazing here though imo...liked some of his other tunes more.
cheers
I believe Subsky is also Turkish!
I havent heard this yet but I would be pretty sure that I'll love it. Everything that Subsky or Yunus [and together] has been putting out is amazing - and to have both of them working together is a meldoic prog. fan's paradise.
The original rox! 9.5/10. This is my favorite tune of the week! Total class!

Yunus is Turkish (with that name, he at least has to have turkish roots) and Subsky definetely has Turkish roots!!
As for the track: I'm not too fond of Yunus' original, he has done much better! Subsky's breaks interpretation on the other hand is massive!! Just like Erotic Sumothere are no real peaks or hysteric build-ups, just a nice flow of subtle yet beautifull melodies and tight beats! I love it and I can't wait for it to get released!
Some of you need eye tests. I post the rel date and you still ask about it.. lol
The Subsky Solid Mix is massive, simply fantastic.A real journey through the melodies.Really looking forward to this.
