How Did Your Musical Path Develop?

I was just wondering, in regards to EDM, where did you start and where are you now with your musical tastes? Basically I'd just like a list of the genres you've cycled through in the order which you were a fan of and end the list with with genre you are in love with now...you can of course repeat genres as we go back and forth through the years...

Here is my list

BEGINNING

Euro-Dance
Hard Trance
Trance
Psy-Trance/Goa
Progressive
Trance
Hard Trance
Tech-Trance
Psy-Trance/Goa

END

prior to discovering electronic music I was a rock music fan

from an electronic music standpoint
1999-2000 euro dance
mid 2000 - end 2000 happy hardcore
2001 - 2002 cheese/cheesy trance
2002 - half 2003 trance
since then
.
.
.
progressive
house
breaks
.
.
.
which brings me to this day

house/tech house/techno

I have to say this is where I am staying. Trance got poppy, progressive got regressive. House is where it's at brothas. Be it deep, funky, techy, tribal it's all good

Basically:

classical ---> techno ---> rays of diversity beaming out like light shining through a prism

pre98 - hated music
1998 - everything on MTV
late 1999 - Eurodance (eiffel65 & co) and Bigbeat (Chem Brothers, Fatboy Slim..)
early 2001 - Mauro Picotto's "The Album" and generic epic trance classics, audiogalaxy mislabels
2002 - epic + progressive trance
late 2003/2004 - progressive trance+house+breaks

generically speaking of course, i dig tracks once in a while from different genres
