Man, we PvD/Vandit whores sure know about good music! And, BTW, is anybody recording this? If so, I would like to get a copy (if Arturo has no problem with it...) and save it with all my other sets.

the amateur producer forum seems good enough for some of the newest and biggest names in EDM to post their stuff in.

i dont recall arturo ever headlining a gig, releasing a mix comp or anything of such. if it wasnt for this board i wouldnt know who the hell he was.

strictly speaking, you are an amateur until you entirely make a living from the proffesion...

Yes, but he definitely has the skills of an amateur. Just because he's a mod here and tigerclaw kisses his ass doesn't mean he gets special priviledges.

1) you don't have to be good to get gigs in the USA, there is far more talent in the good styles in Europe, esp Holland, Germany and the UK

2) By saying he's 'on' tour with Nu-NRG do you mean that he's actually just carrying the bags and speaking the English that they cannot ?

3) As nik said, guys like Bellie & DJ Dawn use the amateur section and they've played at some of the biggest gigs in europe like the love parade & Mysteryland, it's an insult to them if they have to post there just cos they're not a mod or 'in' with a select group of people.

this mix was pretty bad

there was no energy or flow.

dropped a few new tunes , one was really good, others blah.

and those nu nrg songs you played have been beaten down by PVD. I would save them for your own personal enjoyment rather than showcasing them in a mix.

transitions were decent but because I was bored listening to the mix I really wasnt paying attention to them fully.
