Hi
I recorded a mix yesterday, thru Soundforge,it was 1hr 10mins ish,but the file is only 33.45mins long, and when played back soudns liek the Chipmunks,is there anyway of fixing this,as it seems to be double the speed....and i have no idea why???
Any help would be appreciated
thanks lee
Does anyone out there no whast happened,is it a case of re-doing it
I don't really know what happened, but maybe it has something to do with your soundcard settings. Because, I never had that kind of problems with soundforge.
Ive never had this problem either, its something to do with the Sample Rates that have changed, but how i dont know...Looks like the sets screwed.

if it is in soundforge, use the time expand function and just put the number to -2-. That will cut the speed by .5 and put you back to around norm. Dont know why that happened tho
Somehow you managed to double the tempo. Try doing what Nut suggested to change the track back to normal.
If that doesn't work (or not enough), do undo, and try at different settings until it's back to normal.
Other tricks, try using pitch or time stretch, though expand or pitch changes should work.
I'm just using soundforge right now to encode a set I recorded from wav to mp3 =)
