Markus Schulz @ MIA Lounge review
First off, due to a couple of really serious problems that I have to deal with, I left early, as well as not feeling well from either the calzone, or the beer, or the ***ls, or all three, so let's get to the good stuff.
Really good turnout tonight. nchos09 came in from Hotlanta, and Patrick, James, Sara and Phil from Orlando, and Maciej from Tampa. You guys are awesome, driving in for this. Of course, we know the deal with nchos09, with PvD and all. I hope tonight makes somewhat of a decent consolation prize with you buddy.
I got there around 9:30 and Bling was there, then Felipe and Adrian arrived, so we got a table and ordered dinner. I ordered a cheese calzone and Felipe a shrimp one, and the fools messed up our orders. 
Thank God I checked my calzone otherwise I woulda bit into it and I HATE shrimp. 
I hate seafood. Period.
(Well, there is ONE type of seafood that I sorta like but I can't specify what it is...) 
Melissa is the girl I love to watch dance. You got some serious rhythm, girl! 
Markus, welcome back home. Great thing Armada made for you. Thanks for reading Maria's text to you. I still can't believe she called me a bastard in another text prior to speaking with you. She is so bad to me! WTF.

It was great seeing all of you again, Felipe, Ambs, Ben, Jessica, Adrian, the Orlando Crew, Maciej.
We missed: Heather, Lisandra, Jackie, Ryan, Neil and Katie.
I got out of MIA before Satelite was played. (At this moment this event is still going on, so I don't know if Markus played it or not but I got out in time nonetheless.)
If I didn't mention any names, my apologies. Memory isn't what it used to be.

It was so nice seen so many TA"s ruling the dancefloor hehehe ( cause we took over the front dancefloor ! ).. Great set by Markus!.. I hope everyone enjoyed it! ( especially for those that made the real trip heh )

w00t! Good stuff I'm glad I was there. Sux I had to leave early, good thing i did, I managed to get full 2h of sleep, yay. Venue was kewl, nice seeing every1 again, I only wish I could do it more often. Markus was preety good, not exacly my cup of tea, still pretty decent stuff. Gotta get back to work, I'll try writing more later after I get some sleep

I had a great time last night guys! The set was full of energy and I really needed that to get some bottled up anger released. Thanks Markus! I got there ealier than I normally do, but I spent a good half hour on the phone with one of my friends, listening to their woman problems.
By the time I was able to get back inside, I had to wolf down my dinner and catch up with everyone on the dancefloor. Right from the start I was feeling the groove, but I can't stand dancing in a little skirt and platform shoes, so I went to my car and changed into some scrubby pants, a wife beater, my sneakers and a bandana. I looked like crap, but I was comfortable.
Besides the TA's it really didn't seem like anyone else was dancing. And what was going on with the upstair VIP room??? I dunno. Regardless, had a fun time and I got to meet a couple of new people, but as usual, my ADD kicks in and I can't remember their names....sorry =(
I left at about 1:30 due to the splitting headache that I had the entire night, so I went home to finally sleep. I totally felt like crap today at work, but it was well worth it. Whoever took pictures, please be sure to post them up asap!

I loveeeeeeeee Markus, and I think I'm starting to loveeeee him more than you-all-know-who! SHHHHHHHHHHH Well they're about even.... but anyways, i was exhuasted but i needed to go anyways... last time I'd seen Markus was already almost a month ago (my lord, how time FLIES)!
Great seeing so many people come out to support Markus, and just for a good time... I didn't get to talk to or meet everyone, and I had a splitting headache, it was KILLING me... so that sucked, but I still loved it... I'm sorry I didnt dance more, but my head felt like someone had beat me with bricks or something! 
Anyways, big lovinnnn to Markus for his wonderful set (as always ) and playing all these wonderfullllll tracks Heather, you were missed I thought I was going to see ya there, but Markus said you stayed home with Alex! Hope to see you next time, dear!!!
It was great seeing artyy (sabes q tqm amoreeeeee ), Harold (dushiiiiiii, aunq me has abandonado... its ok. i might forgive u ), Felipe (glad u liked it, i thought you would

But very, very cool that y'all came down to support and party some), Sara (was great meeting you! My third trip to MIA lounge (all three times to see Markus) was an incredible experience. From the huge TA support to Markus delievering his incredible set it was a great nite after the cabin fever all of us had to go through.
I arrived around 9:30 pm, (after getting lost and going to Presidential circle...ugh I always get lost around Young Circle), but I finally arrived.
I was the first one to arrive "big surprise there" and just waited around. Around this time,DJ Garfield recognized me from Clubplanet and we talked for a bit. (super nice guy).. While I was waiting for the first TA's to make their grand entrance, I noticed Oronde Gadsen eating dinner(shweet)
Raul was the first to arrive and then we met felipe and his german friend and we sat down. Across from us nchs was sitting with his friends as well and we introduced ourselves.
Later on all the Orlando peeps arrived. So great to see Breakinbeats again and of course Sara. So glad to finally get to talk to you more then just the 5 min we talked at the TA dinner at Poracao (or aim).. You looked absoloutely stunning and your haircut was muy muy sexy.
I was very glad Melissa also showed up. AFter calling her during the day i basiscally begged her to come, as no party at MIA is a party without her dancing. AND DID SHE DELIEVER Also so happy to see Amber (fresh off her trip to Ibiza....... u lucky thing)..
Markus arrived around 10 as well as Harold, Arturo, Ben and OMFG Tigerclaw. (what a shocker) so glad u could make it.. (btw loved ur camera sure beats my disposables).
It was also great to see Jessica a little bit later on in the nite, dancing her butt off
So we are sitting around talkin to Markus and of course I got a pic with Markus and some group pics of the TA's . It will take a while to post becuase i have to finish the roll.
I got a real kick hearing Markus speak German with felipe's friend. And talking about his trip overseas.(which was a huge success)...
I was surprised not to see Persephone (Jackie.. hope your ok, after the storm and all.)
Markus's set
Markus' set continues to take me on a journey. Only markus can deliever melodic and at times downright nasty sets all at the same time.
Every time I hear Markus, (not enough IMHO), I realize why Progressive Trance is my favorite genre, its energy consumes my being, ennervates my soul and allows me to forget the hardships of my daily life (if only for a few short hours). And like Amber's review, Markus is definitly up there with Armin for me as well. The ARmada crew rocks!!!! Anytime markus is in town I will always make it a point to come out. Its a guaranteed incredible musical journey.
There is something about MIA lounge, everytime I go the place is just off the wall fun. That tiny little restaurant has such a great vibe(thanks largely to the great djs party 931 brings in every week..)
The TA's definitly rocked the place, we took over that dance floor, and im sure u all continued partying hard after i left. (i was the first to leave.... around 1 am. but with work the next day I had no choice)..
There were so many tracks that I enjoyed so much I wont even name them. pretty much every track I loved..... Very upset I missed Satellite.
Great to see all the Orlando TA's and Miami Ta's representing.
REally missed not seeing Heather. maybe next time

The visuals were great, Though, There were moments that, I found myself staring at the big screen looking at the visuals instead of Markus on the booth, They were sort of hypnotic, But anyways, Even though, Im not the most active person of the group, I did had a good time, Cause I'm all about the music, Anyways, While I was sitting at the table with Markus, He said something funny that made some of the guys crack up, He said, In Arizona, Van Buuren Street is where all the hookers hang out.
this night was awsome!!
me and my buddies got there aat around 915 or 920 and sat down to eat dinner (which was great btw!) while eating flta's came and introduced themselves! very nice of u guys, i didnt notice anyone come in everyone said hi which was awsome!...
after dinner went outside to smoke and i found phill outside hehehe and we chatted for a little and went back inside and markus started throwing it down. i had never seen markus before and omfg! awsome! im also happy i got introduced to him
his set.. amazing, i love prog and trance so a mix of both = pwn3g!
sorry ii was mingling much but i didnt want to leave my friends out in the dry.... if not i would of sat down and eatten with j00 guys. but i did go upto the front after a bit.. they enjoyed markus too!!
too bad for pvd and all that but i think i still would of enjoyed markus more since im more of a prog person now a days
