HQ presents Scot Projects A1 Album

De HQ van september wordt een hele speciale editie; HQ presents DJ Scot Project A1 Album Launch. Dj Scot Project gaat deze maand, exclusief op HQ, een 3 uur durende set draaien. Voor de eerste keer ergens op deze aardbol zal Scot Project zijn nieuwste tracks van het A1 album laten horen. Scot heeft een lange tijd aan het album gewerkt en de stijl beslaat alle elementen van Harddance en Hardtrance. HQ werkt nauw samen met Scot Project en zijn recordlabel om 24 september een evenement neer te zetten waarbij de wensen van de echte Harddance liefhebbers voorop staan. Deze avond zal niet alleen in het teken staan van al zijn nieuwste tracks maar ook van alle eerdere muziek die hem tot ��n van beste DJ/producers gemaakt in de wereld van Harddance.

mwah leuke line-up. vorige maand wastie alleen stuk beter en volgende maand is ie ook leuker. Tis niet echt mijn soort hq-line up, te weinig pure engels hardhouse. 3 uur scot p breaks trek ik ook niet.

Ik weet helemaal niet of ik hier heen kan want het is op een vrijdag. In ieder geval een goede kans voor iedereen die SP gemist heeft op DV, en tevens een prima alternatief voor Sander K

tjah het is lastig

voor sommige is hard dance de hoofdstyl van de hardere stylen. Dus hier onder valt: UK Hardhouse, Hardstyl, Hardtrance, UK-Techno, Fin-NR, Freeform, Nrg.

Je kan daarentegen harddance ook als losse stroming zien, dus tracks waar allerlei elementen uit bovenstijnde stylen in zitten.

Scot Project rockte wel op Dancevalley overigens! Komt veel NRG van zoiets af!

That said, I still have still been playing a lot UKHH, you only need to look at say my set at Dance Valley for proof of this. TH: The second reason why I expanded the style of music that I play was to allow me the scope to play in certain clubs and countries where I had not played before. Again this was to help develop my career as a DJ. I have been playing at certain clubs in Holland and the UK on and off for nearly a decade and while I dearly love playing at all of them I was keen to branch out and play in some new places. Also, UKHH is quite a niche style of music that is very popular in the UK, Holland, Canada, Japan and Australia but a lot of countries simply don�t have a hard dance scene or have clubs that book hard dance DJs. By evolving my style to make it more �exportable� I suddenly found that I was getting booked to play at lots of new clubs that I hadn�t played at before. TH: All things considered though, I can see why a lot of fans were confused and maybe even disappointed about the change in style. In Holland I am known for pioneering Hard House and helping to create the hard dance scene as we know it today. Because of this I can see why people wouldn�t like the change, but I hope understand why I did it from what I�ve said above. TH: BUT and here�s the big BUT�it has become apparent to me that my new style hasn�t been working that well at HQ. People go to HQ for hard house, not tech trance, as it is one of the best hard house clubs on earth, so it seems foolish not to play the sound for which I am famous. SO� from now on I want to make it completely clear that at all HQ parties plus any events where I am representing HQ (like Dance Valley, Impulz, HQXL or whatever) I will be only playing nothing but UK hard house. I feel that I owe this to my loyal army of fans who come to HQ month in month out to hear me play. This means that from this month�s HQ onwards I will use my sets at the club as a platform to showcase the best of UK and European hard dance both old and new. You can expect all the signs of a �classic� Tommy performance ie lots of action on the cross-fader, a bit a scratching, three deck mixing and a whole lot of jumping about and arm waving. In actual fact I can�t wait so please, if you�re reading this and feel that I�ve not been playing enough UKHH at HQ recently get down to HQ on the 24th September and be pleasantly suprosed�

Conclusie van het hele verhaal is dat TH weer full exploding non stop banging UKHH gaat draaien in de Melkweg en niet meer die tech-trance dfingen.

jah maar 3 min opbouw, 2 min break, 3 min afbouw, 3 min opbouw, 2min break, 3 min afbouw en dat dan 3 uur lang is toch echt teveel van het goede!

Bn net terug, tering wat een feestje

Sot draaide lekker, alleen beetje jammer dat ie weinig eigen producties draaide (Thunder, Rock en als aflsuiter: 'O', waanzinnig! )

Organ Donors begonnen ook goed, SHOKK remix dacht ik en p den duur een remix van 4 non Blondes, klonk ook errug lekkel. (iemand een ID?)

Enne, was leuk om JP te ontmoeten, ben benieuwd naar je fotos!

wat een rukker ben jij!!!! niet eens tot het einde blijven!!! juist tegen het einde aan is het zooooo ontiegenlijk vet in de melkweg en zeker als MR harding banging uk draait.

Topavond

Scot Project draaide de ene na de andere nieuwe productie en wat minder oude platen en remixen. De orgie aan harde bassen, met zo af en toe een break om het publiek tot rust te laten komen. Heerlijk, kan me niet herinneren dat ik zo lang met een grote smile heb rondgehuppeld. Af en toe effe doorhalen naar 180BPM (zoals in Arome - Hands Up), niet normaal meer

Michel de Hey was om een ipv drie uur begonnen. Daar konden we mooi ook wat plaatjes van meepikken. Een naamsverandering naar Michel de Honing zou op z'n plaats zijn, de oude zaal namelijk zat vol met wonderschone vrouwen. Sand in my shoes en Ultimate Seduction

Het begin van de Organ Donors was erg lekker. Indrukwekkend scratchwerk en stevige platen. Helaas tijd om naar huis te gaan (vanwege naweeen griep). Deze HQ was genieten
