Polska vs England

Should be an interesting game....after poland defeated Ireland 3-0 a few days ago....we are looking in good shape next challenge England...with wayne rooney out and i thin beckham is out also we have a pretty good change of comming close to beat england!!!

What do u guys think? please be REALISTIC now....based on injured players and stuff..
will be a good game to say the least!

Beckham will probably start now, he's training today and its only a bruised rib so he can play with painkillers. Gerard is fit as well.

I think we will scrape a win, this England team always digs it out when our backs are against the wall.

I'm goin for a scrappy Poland 0 - 1 England.

well done england.. just about!! to be fair the score was the right one as we did have most of the ball apart from on the poland counter attacks. good move in dropping james and smith.. only need to drop becks now and put gerrard as captain.

Superb goal from Defoe, and when rooneys back maybe well see those 2 playing together!! i bloody well hope so as owens gone a bit quiet over the past few games..

Nevamind dude, we did deserve that win 2nite but I reckon Poland are favourites for that runners up spot. You were better than Austria and should do well against everyone else in the group, especially given Wales' start so far (haha Robbie Savage 2nite don't cry when u get sent off you cock).

^^^ obviously....but were talking about 2 COMPLETELY diff levels of soccer....if u know what im saying...u got premiership and thats one of the most powerful soccer leagues in the world!!! we go extraklasa!! its like 1 team (Wisla Krakow) who destroy all the time..nothing else!

I dont watch all the England games but from what I have seen, Beckham has been instrumental in a great majority of goals that are scored either by a direct assist or opening play from one end of the field to the other.

For his vision and tenacity alone he merits a spot on the team. He has been going through a rough patch (who doesnt?) but the notion that his last good game was against Greece is ridiculous. Time and time again he has delivered the killer ball to the forwards. I think English fans expect too much from him- a price that comes with being a tad overrated I think.

^^^ sooooo true......first they make him sound like hes the king then when has a little slump they bash his head in!!!! thats not cool!!!!

i dont get a chance to watch any of the european games over here but i did see poland when they came here about two months ago and they looked pretty good, especially the female fans

but like a couple of you said, england is just on a different level than poland.
