Salt Tank - Pueblo Blanco aka Chicane feat. Salt Tank - Leaving Town (Salt Tank's 5am Mix) was never officially released, only around 5 acetates exist of the track. It might have come out on Xtravaganza back in 97 when Chicane's Far From The Maddening Crowds came out but for some STUPID reason Alex Gold, the head of Xtravaganza refused to release the remixes of Leaving Town. Other remix being Mea Culpa Remix which is a fantastic epic trancer. I remember hearing a rumor not long ago about Salt Tank might wanna release the Leaving Town mixes. No idea how true the rumor is.

im listenig to the mea culpa mix right now and it says unreleased. lol... was this leaked somehow? i was told that this will never see proper release so one of the producer (maybe Salt Tank) let it circuit the web. cuz it def sounds authentic and its def not butchered out of some set. defintely a kick ass and quality song though. i miss hearing stuff from mea culpa...

hehe prolly one of the most uncertain & sketchy stories to be heard about a release...

i can believe that, it happens quite often.

cheers for the info..

do u have the full length 5am mix???

Posted by GrimReaper on Sep-10-2004 10:51:

The acetates were ripped years ago and those full rips are floating around, no whitelabels or anything exist, at least in common knowledge, as far as i know.

Mea Culpa Remix (7:59)
Salt Tank's 5am Mix (9:55)
