Posted by kelsta on Sep-09-2004 12:17:

I'd be guessing Armin will also be doing Summerdayze Melbourne NYD.

Posted by novastorm on Sep-09-2004 13:57:

im in perth n coming over with a few perthians to Melbourne for NYE and beyond, i was just about to chuck in a thread asking what to do, what to do .. but this will do nicely! another job well done!

thanks for the headsup, any word on venue, ticket sales or anything? this will be huge im hoping

Posted by Trance Nutter on Sep-09-2004 14:05:

Is Armin confirmed for NYE in Sydney?

I'd hate to make my plans and then find out he's only playing Melbourne. Any word on Sydney tickets? How would I get them anyway, would it be through the club or a ticket store like Ticketek?

hahaha...you morons have never seen what a good party is all about...

to the other dude...venue for nye is metro..tix will prob be $70 (considering its nye and costs are much higher)

Posted by 00soups00 on Sep-09-2004 23:18:

any idea why they would pick Metro over QBH???

like can metro fit more punters, or something>?>??

because i thought qbh would be a better venue

Posted by Aesthetic on Sep-09-2004 23:23:

HAHAHA YES that's what i'm talkin about! to think we were going to go to syd and waste all that money.

.. now im just gonna have to waste all that money in melb

ps.. what sort of shit does fergie play nowadays

He says that he isn't a techno dj, but anyone who has seen him over the past year or two will most likely have heard some of the most pounding techno you're likely to ever hear. It was classic this year when he played at two tribes and loads of people were expecting a hard house dj.

Though on his weekly show on Radio 1 he does play a fair bit of house, tech-house and breaks as well. Normally it only gets really banging towards the end.

For someone who's demonstrated such a love of tech-trance, I think you might want to check out the back room when Fergie's on. Though even if you don't like his music you still should watch him play as he is an amazing dj to watch.

Me have bbq with family on NYE !!
