Drunk Mac does it again

Check out the wild new computer they've just released/about to release...that thing is just gorgeous not to mention the performance. The idea is not new though, I've seen IBM do it before but man what a beauty!

top notch design, no question! *thumbsup*

the only drawback I can really think of...and it's rare anyway...is that if ANY component goes, you have to do without your whole PC until it's fixed, lol.

At least with a conventional PC, the vid card is shot, you stick in another one, even from another PC until you replace it.

otherwise...I LIKE IT! (no security/spam drama either!!!)

im seriously considering a Mac sometime in future but not anytime soon. i'd probably be gearing towards the power mac series since im all for full on power!

That's why all these girls buy macs.. cuz they're "cute". It's not even a computer anymore. I bet the first person they ask is the designer to design a casing. And then they fit the components in.

yea that computer probably has more functionality than a mac anyway

Posted by starsearcher on Sep-10-2004 02:10:

Lol well Mac is known for their design after all that's their "niche" as they say, no matter what you say nobody does better in that department. They have award winning designers working on that stuff...and a lot of these computers are made specifically for that same industy - creative/design/fashion/music and etc. So yeah you're most likely correct - first design then they fit it all in...but it still looks awesome

Are you a woman?

Honestly, what self-respecting guy buys a computer because it's "gorgeous." Oooohh, once the ladies see my iMac they'll be all over me!! God these things are like fucking pieces of furniture, not computing devices.

a) I'm perfectly comfortable with my sexuality and I don't need a "manly" machine to rasure myself of it
b) I'm not buying a computer for the ladies
c) Is that bad that I think something looks good and I'm impressed with the design work of an artist?

If you see a beautiful car or...I dunno whatever youre into...wouldn't you make the same comment?

i love the Apple laptops

Posted by exergo on Sep-10-2004 04:23:

more like where is the keyboard and mouse and where do they plug in?
how does it tilt?
it will fall in an earthquake?

yeah it's beautifull, but that metal stand seems way too flimsy...especially at side view..

pretty much a laptop...cool and all but still a mac

btw, have you seen mac's wireless keyboards

"it will fall in an earthquake?" I'm not going to even attempt to dignify this

"still a mac"? Are you implying that macs are inferior?

P.S. I like my Powerbook

Posted by phoenixBEBE on Sep-10-2004 12:53:

OMG this is fukin INCREDIBLE!!! but then again we'll have to see about the functionality of it...i havent read the specs yet
