To tell you the truth, I have no idea. But I always liked pop quizzes so:

Hard Trance
1 Lisa Lashes
2 Lab4
3 Anne Savage
4 Tidy Boys
5 Yoji Biomehanika
^^^
I'd add to your breaks either Hyper or Adam Freeland maybe...?
I can tell in advance the top 3 trance DJs list is gonna cause a lot of bitching! And it will go along these lines...
"Its PvD, nah mate - its Tiesto cos of the olympics, feck off its AvB with his trance radio show, no way its deffinitely Ferry Corsten" ...ad nauseum!
I'll try to stay out of the flame war, but for breaks I'd say:
Rennie Pilgrem
Adam Freeland
and Hybrid
that's just my personal opinion though..

I dunno about u guys but the best Drum and Bass DJ hands down is DJ Marky...I've never seen a DJ with more skill and talent than this guy. After seeing him live ur perspective changes about other DJ's abilities. Even if u dont like Drum and Bass u have to give this guy credit for how good he is, technically that is....

I liked Bossi's track selection when I saw him, but Acosta's is a little bit better (IMO) and Brisk from Stimultant Dj's has fantastic technical skills. I played after Brisk at a massive warehouse party last April the night after I played alongside Jon Bishop. The difference was night and day.

George Acosta is terrible! Functionally and track selection and he's an asshole. He and Irene should be taken out back and shot!
Strongly disagree. His track selection is fantastic. As much as I like the dutch armada (AvB, Tiesto, Ferry), there hasn't been a single time I've seen GA (about six times now) that I wouldn't take his track selection over those guys: he's always been better in that department, IMO. He may not have 2/3's of his set be unreleased stuff, but I honestly think that it's a step above. He's the only one that consistently crosses the bridge between epic trance and really hard german trance.
From the interactions I've had with him and close friends who've spent time with him, he's not an asshole: he is pretty damn introverted, though, and kind of shy...definitely not the most bubbly person in the world. The only problem I see with GA is that he usually doesn't play as well if the crowd is even somewhat close to beingsparse, so he's inconsistent. But if the place is packed he's awesome. The first time I saw him play, at Arena during the Labor Day weekend 2002, was the best set I've ever heard anyone play....ever. No one has even come close. Well over 1000 people were literally out of breath, hanging on the railings and crap, refusing to go home that night.
Now, I sort of agree with you about Irene. Her mixing skills aren't that good at all, and she can deliberately get cheesy with the hardhouse anthems. I still don't think she should be taken out and shot, though: maybe Micro, but not her
.
