John '00 Fleming vs. Astral Projection - Mahadeva

I don't understand. Why wasn't this thing played more often this past year? IMO, this is one of the most amazing tracks I've heard in a long time: absolutely flawless production, enormous energy, fast (I think it's at 140-141 bpm, but it sounds awesome at 143bpm), and is in this unique, wonderful hybrid of hard psy and epic trance sounds. WhY?? :P

Hmmm... listening to a preview of this track on Beatport right now. Not bad, not bad at all.

Very nice, liking the energy of the track a lot. Thumbs up!

I'll have to put this in my to-buy list.

Yeah, it was number 1 on my top 10 list for 6 straight months! Every time I've played it the crowd reaction has been incredible. This is probably top 5 all time for me, now: can't get enough of it! BTW, since you're in LA, I'm playing at HQ (series of big warehouse parties) tomorrow night, and there's a 99% likelihood I'm going to play this one. The thread about it is on the West Coast board.

At the risk of sounding elitist...

The original mix is better.

For its time it was awesome! Must be pushing 10 years old now or something?

anything j00f touches is gold, easily my #1 dj, other so called superstars should take a good hard look at this guy and see what a real dj looks like

on a side note I read on his website that he's going to start touring with astral projection a little bit, now that would be one hell of a show

Just about, released in 1995 with In-Novation on the flip, remixed by AP themselves in 96, again in 99...

I like those updated mixes, and Fleming's 04 mixes certainly don't disgrace the track, but the original is something special -- a little rough around the edges and flies at 150 BPM. More could not be asked for.
