Absinthe

i just got a knock on my door and got a delivery of a liter of absinthe....

i was drunk one night and somebody had mentioned absinthe to me online,... long story short i ordered some and it,.. i have had some before when i was in Prague a few years ago,.. it only took a month to deliver and i had totally forgotten about it,... alas i now have illegal absinthe here in Oklahoma delivered from Prague, Czech Rep.... the box is kinda cool b/c its all written in Czech...

anybody else have absinthe stories??

it's uber strong like 120 proof or so and it has a very very strong taste to it, something like ouzo and licorice or some kind of herby taste. it made my friend puke all over the place.

and its from switzerland.

it says, absinthe extract, traditional swiss recipe.

Actually thujone isn't really similar in activity to THC at all...it's a convulsant and antagonizes GABA-Alpha receptors. Besides, there's not enough of it in absinthe usually to cause any activity.

You can order it from http://www.eabsinthe.com/, but be aware it's not legal everywhere.

I drank it the traditional way before...with the sugar and lighting it on fire and all that...really cool. When the sugar dripped down into the glass it turned the absinthe bright green. I drank three shots of it last night as well, I was drunk off my ass like I've never been before...what a crazy buzz.

Yeah, thujone is controlled in the US, and in turn also absinthe.

It doesn't normally have shrooms...though the active hallucinogens in shrooms would probably easily dissolve into it..

haha, in ibiza, the chippy beside eden, theres usually a promotion for 3 san maquels and 3 shots of snaps for 5 euro, anyway the girlworker got to know us and gave us 3 shots of absinthe instead of snaps, i remember as soon as my m8 pinned one he threw up all over the place, he was fairly drunk tho. its strong as fuck lol and he was fucked the whole night.

I think it's legal in Holland. A friend of mine has a bottle (ordered it for like 40 dollars on the net). Weird bottle, just a wine bottle with no label at all... He hasn't opened it yet.

Absinthe and 151 drunk are two completely different types of drunk. 151 or anythin stronger like Everclear/Grain just make you feel like falling down on a couch and going to bed, its like somebody dropped an anvil on you. Absinthe energizes you and gets you ready to go out. I had 5 shots of Absinthe before I went to Manumission and I could not stop dancing if I wanted to. It's a great party drink.

Damn, I REALLY need to get some of that Absinthe!!!! I don't give a fuck if it's legal here or not! (Which it isn't, as Lephaid pointed out earlier.) I just wanna PARTYYYYY!!!!! EEEEEHAAAHHH!!!!!
