Review: Josh Gabriel

Good night overall . Josh played good set, but I did not like his mixing. I know that he mixes on his computer, I don't care that much about it, but sometimes the track would stop and the vocals on the other one just start and everyone would stop moving for a minute or so - that I did not like. The sound in Guv was also shit, after visiting Boa couple of weeks ago I can really tell. The track of the night for me was Yimanya, my current favourite : ))

Too bad Dave Dresden did not come ( for whatever reason), I really liked his set last winter.

Josh Gabriel's set was a crowd pleaser - lots of tracks for ppl to get into (w/mixes of lots of well known tracks & artists). I rather liked it that way! Plenty of crowd interaction too...

Guv was quite bearable in terms of heat & # of ppl so it was all good.

Definitely a good night!

i was exhausted for some weird reason (prolly LOL..still hah!!).
laur and myself left around 3am...gabriel was good..but nothing spectacular...southern sun was the song of the night for me ..

should be all rested and ready to rip these legs apart come picotto/liebing

Definitely a good night! Had fun! Saw some faces I hadn't seen in a LONG time and also met some new peeps. Nice to finally meet dnmr.

Think he ended sometime between 4:30-5. I was stuck waiting for friends to leave but honestly would have been ok leaving long before that. Really not impressed with his set at all. Really never got going. He threw in some memorable G&D tracks/mixes but in all honesty spent too much time building up on some tracks and never really bringing them in. I mean it was great to see that he got into it and tried to pump the crowd up (for all its worth in that place lately). I remember being more into Dresden's set the last time they both played in KH. Noticed also that he was doing stuff off the laptop which I think takes away from the feel of a live set. Anyway the crowd was pretty shit and don't think I'll be going back there until a bigger event comes along like Armin or maybe Picotto. Never thought I'd say it but it was worse than Viva.

It was a really cool night, to say the least. Mark O was amazing, as usual, and so was josh gabriel. I didnt see any trance addicts, but i did ask a few people if they were, and all of them said no

Was a good nite out. Crown did not seem very into the music. Mark Oliver once again great opening set. Josh Gabriel, some great tracks, Motorcycle, no one on earth... had a great time. Josh Gabriel is definately on the see again list... see you all for Boy George.

COOOOOOOOOOOL NITE!!! I found a good spot on the podium next to the bar with the fans over it.... and DANCED DANCED DANCED!!!! I went crazy for SOuthern Sun and No One on Earth!!! I liked this nite better than Markus Schulz (even tho i was really lookin forward to that one... musta been jetlagged!!) ALl in all SOME GOOOOD SHIT! I like Josh Gabriel's laptop I wonder how he DJs using it....

Over all his set was shit.

Mixing was bad..

He played some really good tracks.

Other than that the usual packed sardines crowd, was fun to hang out with TA's - BEST PARTY VIBE!!

Had a pretty decent time at Guv.. Josh's mixing wasn't that bad either..Highlight of the night was when he dropped 'No one on earth'...amazing tune it is...Also hearing ATRC on a big soundsystem after a long time was special...
