This is some really uplifting stuff..

the guitarish synth is quite cool and sounds really interesting in my opinion...

There is not much to fault, everything blends is so well except for the kick and the bass which i guess you mentioned...

Raise those volumes a bit, and work a bit on separating the kick from the bass a bit and you'll have an absolute stormer...

great work, as usual!

While listening:

Start ok with a nice melody. Really nice how it becomes one pad. The melodies at 50 sec. make me think of Envio. Hihat's are (or just one) a bit too hard. Kick could be a bit (just a bit) harder, and maybe also the bass, cause it sounds a little bit empty now. But that's just before 2.00 min. Then the part without the melodies. Bass is a bit flat I hear now. Could be a bit deeper imo. If I look at my EQ, he agrees :P But, except for that sounds nice and tight.
But off-cource that's just my opinion.

I really like it, but the bass could be a bit deeper, that's te most important thing. Well done.

Damn, if this is the *unfinished* version... I can't imagine how awesome it will be when it is done

Excellent production, can't criticize anything really.

(Oh, and by the way- I highly approve of your new sig image, looks way better than the old one!)

im no producing pro so pardon my ignorance of jargon

i really like the melody, one of the kind that makes you feel all happy inside and start dancing. i agree on the bass part, needs a bit more 'umphf' other than that, great sounding track

Beautiful tune dude, really really nice. I absolutely love this style of uplifting trance, and you always pull it off so well. Gorgeous progression in this one.

You get an award for TA's most prolific and most improved producer for sure. This shit you keep coming out with every couple of days is nothing short of magic, great work.

You use Reason, correct? I might have to do a remix.

Just Another Day, Daybreak, One Day, haha you really like days.

hey sunquest, got messenger?
mine is [email protected] , please add me to your list

thanks

nice synth sounds at the start - tis amazing what softsynths can do these days

won't comment on structure - as it's just a sample

reminds me of early new order for some reason - which is a good thing.

I think there is a little over-use of delay/reverb, and the whole thing sounds a little ill-defined in parts

could use some work on the percs - although I like the phased clap

nice work - could be excelent

op

you're definitely my favourite producer in here.
damn you.. this melody is wicked. please finish.

Yet another assembly line track by Sunquest. Production is a tad better than one day but the melody stays far behind...

Posted by Sunquest on Sep-15-2004 16:41:

tnx again for reviews guys
ive added the full track with u guys, so enjoy

Posted by The Green Link on Sep-15-2004 17:36:

The beat kicks in!

Wooow!!! The synth melody is striking! It reminds me a bit of Moogwai - Neon around the 1m mark. But a very cool sound!

But why do most of u (NOFI) always return to the 'standard trance-sounds' (around the 3min. mark)?

Apart from that - it sounds nice.

Keep it up.
