Chicane Australian Tour!!

just read this on ITM!!

great news..use to like chicane bak in the early days when i was getting into trance. heard a lot about his live performances. certainly a must see for me

Chicane cool. Last time he came to Australia back in 2000.
He was the supporting act for Paul Oakenfold. Think it was called Perfecto Tour.
Venue was ok, Sound system was poor but seeing Chicane live, as in with his band, not a guy with 2 decks was pricelist.
I hope this time Tracy Ackerman is touring with them.

I actually have the flyer for this event, bought it on Ebay bout 3 years ago cos i wanted some room decoration.

I would LOVE to see Chicane live, he's a fantastic musician. Even if it was more rock influenced I would love to go anyway.

well considering there have been other rumours circulating 4 BDO like chemical brothers, i'd assume chicane will do a separate tour. i doubt they would all b on the same lineup.

They put on a great performance. A lot of dance music sounds best from the studio but chicane has a unique sound that allows for various instruments. I witnessed that at the docks in 2000. It was awesome.I would love to see them again, i must admit i prefer the work from his first 2 albumns- far from the maddening crowds and behind the sun. Full details will be revealed soon but I can assure you, musically, they are playing a mix of old and new and all this is live in full effect!
