Info needed on Zurich Street Parade

I met some cool ass Germans in Ibiza they told me the Street parade is MUCH better than the Love Parade. They said The Love Parade in Berlin is too commerical & u can't drink or smoke. I'm planning on goin to Europe next summer & hitting up the Love Parade, Amsterdam, England, Ibiza, then to Switzerland. Global Clubbing!

I'd like to know how long is the party? How many DJ's & which DJ's usually play? After parties? What is Energy? I thought that was in Holland.

Street parade

The StreetParade in Zurich always takes place on the 2nd Saturday of August each year. It's from 15am to 20am. 35 lovemobiles (trucks).
Last year it reached ONE MILLION people dancing around the Lake of Zurich (bigger than 2001's Loveparade). The atmosphere is very cool & peaceful.
After the parade, about hundred of after parties celebrate the vent in the night. The most famouse party is Energy with 30'000 party people and 10 dancefloors (trance, house, techno...).

Wahaha.. Loveparade is nothing compared to the streetparade Make sure ya'll hit Goliath & Energy if ya're planning to visit Switzerland! Energy is great, has a lot of great acts and an unique atmosphere! There's another alternative: Mainstation. Has good acts too, and doesn't cost anything. It's free and also the whole night over. Party on Switzerland has a lot to give, clubs, events.. just have an eye out, best months are August & September. Well hope ya'll have fun.. (Trance Energy is in holland)

Oh and this year DJs like DJ Mind-X, DJ Snowman, DJ Energy, DJ Tatana, DJ Pure (all swiss elite DJs) and Talla 2XLC, Cosmic Gate, Safri Duo (buwahah) played there..

last year it was greater, cause there were DJ Taucher and Ferry Corsten also.. (Corsten spinned @ Goliath too last year).

Goliath 9 took place on last Saturday (September 29th 2001) and it was great!!! Better than Energy 2001 even if this one was great too!!

Check out http://www.energy.ch those are the ones who organize this event.

Also have a look @ http://www.partyzoom.ch where I use to have a look what parties are going on next..
