Accapella/ Remix software

Alright, the way I see it I have two options for one problem.

I've recently purchased Svenson - Sunlight Theory vinyl, the O-Zone remix is absolutely amazing - except for that breakdown.
For those who do no know it, the breakdown is about two minutes of ambient/choral/humming, a second of silence - then the most energetic melody to bring it back to the tune. I LOVE the tune from the silence onwards - great energy, great melody.

The problem is the two minutes of ambient, no real melody. It lets the energy drop just WAAAAAAY to low before bringing it back. I'm pretty energetic and can last through the longest breakdowns without losing the energy and feeling, except this one, to be frank, I get bored.

So my question, does anyone with knowledge of this song have an accapella or another song they play over the top to keep some energy in the breakdown, or do they do something different?
Another question, does anyone know any (free) good remix software where I can play around with the song to try to create a bootleg remix/edit for myself?

you can do this live with CDJ1000s (well, if you are james zabiela you can)

if your talented on the decks you should be able to do it too, just mix in an insteresting beat, cut out the breakdown, drop the needle at the part right where it kicks back in, cue it up, and drop it back in. harder than it sounds i know, but it's doable.

failing that, just chop it up in soundforge or whatever.

oh and by the way, your right, bangin bangin tune!

Obtaining an extra copy will solve your problem- get another 12" or burn it onto cd, then mix it into itself at the appropriate points
