Cue'ing on a cdj 1000

Alrite the club Im playin at is gonna be investing in the cdj 1000 , not sure if its the mk2 or not. I been using a pair of 1210's and denon 2600 at present club..

My question is how does one cue under CD mode... I tired moving the jog wheel at one event I was playin but the frames dont move.. I dont like the Vinly mode.. SO if anyone cud tell me the step by step procedure on cueing on the cdj 1000 under the "CD" not "VINLY" mode wud b helpful

And is there a way to reduce the sensitivity of the jog wheel for pitch bending.. Im soo used to punching the button on the denon 2600, turnin the wheel is very odd to me..

Not a useful reply.

Pioneer is the only one with a different cue method. Pause the track, hit the cue button (you'll see a strip on the display, that's the cue point) and play again . If you wanna return to the cuepoint, hit the cue button while the player is running! (If it's not running when you hit the cue, you'll set a new cue point).

I have a pair of pioneer 100s and when I got onto different club equipment I was freaking out on how to cue.

So what your saying is

1 - hit the Play
2 - hit Pause
3 - Hit cue and move jog wheel to desired position
4 - hit cue
5 - hit play

rite?

almost

1. hit play
2. hit pause
3. move jog wheel to position
4. hit cue
5. hit play

Then whenever you hit cue, it goes back to the cue point
