Sad day for boxing. The best man won though. But both got money for fighting, which seems to be the only important factor here.

I dont see how this is a sad day for boxing, Bernard Hopkins has been champion for a long time and is one of the best fighters of this generation, there was no suspect decsion and de la Hoya accepted that he was beaten unlike his fissy fit after he lost to mosley

Considering it was billed as the fight to rival Hagler-Leonard, i wish id went to bed. 8 rounds of the foxtrot and then 1 good, but unspectacular, bodyshot. de la Hoya paid the price for not having the power and was 1 weight to far for him

i saw the fight, i was rooting for oscar but I knew his chances to win were not that good.

It was a sad day for boxing just because I wanted De la hoya to win. I lost $20.00! But there is no doubt Hopkins has been denied of some deserved respect for some time now. He's a good boxer.
