[Trance]V² Project - Facing worlds

Ok, this is our new trance track. Its a work in progress so its far from done at the moment. Some FX and changes will come in the main synth. Also some extra sounds and stuff will be added. The base is there though, and that wont change.

quite like the perc work at the intro, but it seems to be lacking any kind of groove, and it builds kinda slowly, doesn't make you anticipate much...

what I mean by grove is the slight mis-timing you can give it that makes you nod your head to the music, this seems rather clincal.

lead synth at 3:40ish could do with being a lot bigger, maybe layer it with a couple of other synths.

technically it's pretty much there, but it's missing that groove at the moment, and that comes mainly from the bass and drums, so I would consider tweaking them slightly

otherwise pretty nice

It's not a bad track, but I don't like the main lead all that much. Mixing sounds OK to me, but the whole track just seems a bit empty somehow, I mean it's got all the basic elements but I just don't feel moved by it at all, but I know how hard it is to create a full-sounding song that goes somewhere, so I can't really put you down too much. Just keep producing

can u be more specific? is the main part to empty or is the intro also to empty. I think the main lead needs more volume aswell, so im going to layer it with some more delayed atmospherci synth aswell, i think. Thnx for the comments, i keep improving the track.

The ploppy kick at start isn't a good choice IMO, why not the full package from the start?
Dont like the phaser on the hats.
Synths are ok, but this all lacks a bit energy. Cant exactly point out why.
Break now. Melody is a bit hard to follow, no hook here. Synth used is ok.
Overall mix could use more low, and mid. The highs take a lot of room here! That's perhaps why it's a bit dull sounding. The Kick could use more power and lowend as well, the breakbeat doesn't really do it's job.

Could do with a few changes. Overall the track is ok.

ok tnx for the comment. About the mid and the low, that could be yes because im mixing on my headphones...in the weekend i will mix it down at my good speakers. And the kick is good imo so i wont change that much. The melody is also to my liking, i dont like simple melodies so i always make complex ones, though i dont think this 1 iss so complex. I keep improving the track with your comments though, until its fine.

Nice kick & bassline. Also all parts of the perc are nice. The whole of this sounds very well! Main mellody is really, really good. It have deep atmosphere and aky.
