hey... maybe you guys could give a word or two
here is my partisipation for the blank and jones contest, it made it to the finals among 21 tracks from over 300 or so, but didn't win..
what do you think?

I think this is very good tune, but you could remove the classic rebirth acid sound from it...the sound of main lead is very cool

Those toms sound like... balloons... Really nice sounds here. Good stereo image.
Real broad range of percs used. Cool.
Ok synths before the break are not my style, bit to experimental as it were.
The pads I do like.
The kick could use more emphasis.
I think there's a bit too much reverb on a few things.
The bell/organ is really nice.

Not everyday music but the quality is quite good and it sounds really full. Really nice work.

bongos fit very nicely, mmm that trance synth is very nice, i really like this, its very chilly and trancy at the same time
only thing u should fix imo is make the percs louder during the climax, because that synth is so loud it overlaps the percs :S

i agree the mixing needs some work, but as it didn't win the contest, i thought just leaving it the way it was, and focuse on future projects instead.
the acid sound is not rebirth though, dunno what you guys think of oldskoolish dry no distortion 303 sounds, but i personally just love em, that's why most of my tracks have them.
