I'm gonna download em, then put em up on a website just to get that letter faxed to me to show all my friends
Hmm, honestly I didn't find the PSAs entertaining in the least bit, but that still doesn't mean Hasbro should freak out and demand that they be taken down like that. Are they afraid that the good name of GI Joe and their shitty 80's cartoon might be sullied?
they are so funny..

"Does your mother still hang out at dockside bars?"
"Get that kid off my ice you little wankers."
The thing that gets me is why protect the identity of the law firm? If this situation were to be in a court of law it would be a matter of public record anyway.
i don't think kids even kno wth GI Joe is now anyway so wth would they care
Read on their forums they wont take them down without a fight. And trademarked or not, Im pretty sure that they are protected under the parody law.

JOE becomes the first boy's "Action Figure" in the world. 1967 G.I. JOE line expands to include talking figures. Hasbro Canada produces the Canadian Mountie set. 1969 G.I. JOE line expands to include all categories of U.S. armed forces and numerous foreign armed forces. Hasbro decides the name "G.I. But jokes aside: GI Joe was an afterschool cartoon during the mid to late '80's. But even before that it was also an action figure dating back to 1964. Back when action figures where a foot (12") tall. |
NP. I wasn't trying to joke I just realised you bday was in 84/85 and figured you wouldn't have heard about the cartoon.
I remember watching it as soon as I ran home from high school. This was before the internet and Nintendo even came around for anyone. The lame PSA's always had me lmao. They never had one on the dangers of smoking weed or some other real issues. I wonder why.
YO JOE!
Here's a mirror just in case:
