Precursor - Pulsar (Original/Dub Mix)

Leon Bolier aka Subsphere and Mindsensation out with a new tune on Spinnin's sublabel RR. Anybody heard it? Dub Mix is supposedly a tech trancer in similar vein to Sam Sharp and Sander van Doorn, which should be interesting.

The original mix is the better version, typical Leon Bolier leadsynth really. Dub Mix is a bit Spinnin' style indeed, good for the dancefloor.

its has a beuken style beat but tune wise its a sorta decent trancer without going over the top.

i head straight for the dub as its pumoing beat and subtle tickling of synths suit a play early on the build the mood. the original mix is the same but with extra melody/synths which turn it into a full on trancer of sorts.

i wouldnt regard it as tech trance though, just decent pumping trance

I myself prefer the dub mix.

This has just come out - saw it on Juno today. The samples they provided sounded interesting and there's a good review in this month's IDJ magazine. The reviewer reckons its got a 'Donna Summer-ish bassline' which immediately endears it to me. Reckon I'll probably buy this.

it's alright...pretty energetic but also pretty standard. nothing special here imo, although i likewise prefer the dub mix if i'd had to choose.
