Josh Gabriel in this months issue of MAXIM

It's pretty cool. They did an entire 4 page spread on recording/producing. They take you step by step from equipment, software, studio acoustics, and promotion.

Josh Gabriel gives a little quote about how to soundproof your room. Not a big deal, but I just thought it was cool they asked Josh for a quote rather than go for some uber huge name.

What issue? Is it the one with Avril on the cover or is it a newer one?

Posted by Spective on Sep-21-2004 18:42:

The Avril one is the newest one. Its in that one. The October 2004 issue

That's really cool! It would be interesting to see what he's using for his production.

Was it Josh or Dave that used to be a sound engineer for Disney?

Posted by idoru on Sep-22-2004 03:36:

Might have to pick this up, then.

Posted by erdega on Sep-22-2004 03:43:

Why pick it up? Just scan those few pages in a shop, otherwise it's nothing new from any other issue of maxim. Soft porn and mindless banter

what kind of seller allows you to walk off with the magazine, get it scanned at a 'shop', and return it?
