it this your final version, because it doesn't sound mastered or whatever you may call it.

not having heard the original, i don't know if you have improved on anything or trashed it. but from the material presented, not my thing.
don't care for the vocals, and i am vocal whore, just ask aroud.
the rest is pretty much predictable and at times a bit off with the vocals. 3.40 mark, maybe it's just the note he hits, that i don't like.

Are you a producer? Just curious. It is mastered, but the mix may be off a little. May have to bring down the vocals or raise the snare or something.

This track is classic Erasure. If you're a fan of them, you'd definitely have a more favorable review. Not familiar with it? Download it. Erasure - Album Chorus - Track 4 - Breath Of Life. I'm sure you can preview it on Amazon or hell just take it if you have Kazaa. The high note he hits is a trademark falsetto thingy he does. It sounded weird to me too when I bought the album 13 years ago, but it grew on me, quick. But since you haven't heard the original, give it a spin, if you can find it, and then listen to mine again.

If you don't like vocal trance, that's fine. I have other tracks in the works that aren't vocal. I'll post 'em when they're finished.

They are back. They have a new album in the works, AND, the word is it's their best work since the Chorus album.

I mean like touring. Who knows when they will come back to Houston.

They came to Houston last year, and they'll probably come in '05 in support of the new album. I've saw them in '90, '92, and '97 in Houston, and last year in Dallas. I'm sure I'll see them again whenever they come around next time.

Welcome to TA mate, and to DCS also! I heard about you not long ago, when Mike mentioned a thing or two about a couple of producers from Austin he was interested in recruiting. I'm Packer, a trance DJ from San Antonio. If you don't already know (actually you may have even met them for all I know), I'm one of 3 that spin trance in DCS, the others being Dave (Molina), and Steve.

On another note I am off from work for TWO WEEKS in October, from October 9th through the 24th...after we get back from VOODOO on the 18th, Dave and I will both be hammering away at some tracks at home, since he's also off the week. Will you have any time to come and work with us? Liz says she will feed any of my friends that will come over to work on music too

Oh yeah, how do you like my first attempt at a remix? Mike and Andy say it's getting picked up for Goth Fridays at Sanctuary... which is pretty cool since I only "finished" it a week ago.

Unfortunately I won't be making it to Voodoo, can't afford it, and plus it's the g/f's 21st on the 16th. So who is planning on spinning it at Sanctuary? Dave I'm guessing? Nice!! I made the song for Dave to spin... it was originally just for him, but he can't spin with a CDJ yet. Some guy named Chris over at Sanctuary wants to spin it. Some guy Andy knows. Hopefully I'll get a CD out to this guy soon, so he can play it, but I don't know how to get a hold of him.

never heard erasure (still a dedicated newb) but i like it. really like the flange that was mentioned before. laters.
