I believe Mr. Bates said that an official release is not looking too healthy - apparently the bootleg / mix started out as a joke?

But still... it is a massive tune! Absolute stormer - I hope it DOES get a proper release.

no offense but the second i heard it i thought it was way way too tacky and cheesy,like cos of the speed of the original it just sounds too fast really novelty-esque for me.

This won't ever get released. Straight from the horse's mouth. Marco V and Benjamin Bates both played here in Sydney last weekend, and said there's no way it would ever get released. They made it as a joke
