I think that Detroit will be this years Stanley cup winners and the strongest competitor for the title will be Toronto!

whatttttttt ? COLORADO ALL THE WAY ONCE AGAIN FOR A SECOND STANLEY CUP IN A ROW , the strongest competitors are gonna be Detoit , New Jersey & MONTREAL (yes MONTREAL they won 7 of their 9 preparation games) GO HABS GO

pretty tough call. i love the avs. joe sakic is my hero and i'm sure the avs will make a strong push for the cup again. though i have to admit detroit really bulked up over the summer with the additions of robitaille, hull and of course hasek. they will definitely be the team to beat this year. think new jersey will come out of the east to meet either colorado or detroit. deep down inside though i'm cheering for the canucks. GO CANUCKS GO!!!!

Detroit has the best chance right now. The leafs won't do too much damage if they don't improve their defence.
