i always see metallica - enter sandman (techno mix) .. i think it sucks, but then again, everyone is held to their own opinion..

also there is queens of the stone age - no one knows (u.n.k.l.e. reconstruction mix) if you like house..

The White Stripes - 7 Nation Army (Freeland mix + Liebing mix also)

Stone Roses - Fools Gold (ummm I dont know the mix is, played in a Freeland set I have. PM me if u want a sample of it)

and theres a mint remix of Song 2 by Blur in a Zabiela set I've got, but you'd have to search the tracklist forum for that as I can't really be arsed atm

what im really looking for are tracks where you cant tell right away what song it is..then it just hits you, I love those...

After the intro with just the beat for a bit, the bootleg of The Wall by Pink Floyd done by Andro is easily recognisable. The breakdown is amazing as well, I'd love to hear it in a club

Oh I've just thought... Tiesto did a remix of Radiohead - Street Spirit last year I think it was, its had a lot of mixed reviews but personally I think its an OK tune

Nirvana - Smells Like Freeland

Radiohead - Everything in its Right Place (hybrid)
REM - The Great Beyond (hybrid)

these are the best ones ive heard. true to the original but remixed enough to be different. im know there is more, but anyone suggesting a remix of Street Spirit could be alright is bullshitting you. thats a song that shouldnt have been touched with a 4/4 kickdrum|

huh? is that some brand of internet text sarcasm that doesnt translate?

or am i being sarcastic?

i dont know anymore. but what i really meant is that taking a song that was originally not trance and well made and putting some synths onnit and a trance beat is a bit questionable. doesnt mean its going to stop any time soon. if you like the track, more power to you. but i realized when Oakey remixed Street Spirit it wasnt a good idea. And then when Tiesto started being the 2002 Oakey I figured it would happen again - and it did...

but eh|
