i do it many days. that being said i still get rides occasionally, and today i borrowed a roomies car to get to work. usually i ride my bike. it sucks coming off of a 8 hour shift at Starbucks to have to ride uphill n shit. then again going there is no prob in the morning as its all downhill - which can be quite interesting if you are hungover or still drunk, kinda calming|

yeah no public transportation near my house and it took at least a half hour to bike anywhere, and the way wasn't lit at all so it was impossible after dark, especially with a shitty 24 year old road bike

now i'm at my dorm though and i never have my car
and my bike just managed to get two flat tired

In summary. I love my car, and I sure as hell couldn't go a day w/o it.

And fuck the ozone layer. In the winter I make it a point to empty a whole aerosol can while on my porch. Fcuk my kids, I'm cold now. Sorry, that stand up just popped into my head with the ozone layer comment. I don't really mean it

must be nice having a car and all. Takes me up to an hour and a half to travel between my apartment and work by public transportation, for is really a 15-20 minute drive. Someday I will own a car, someday (when I can afford the insurance and the goddamn gas)

Whenever i hang out with my mates i just walk there - takes 50 mins / 1 hour to get to them though... they live on the other side of town. public transport aint too bad round here either, so use that if i'm going cinema etc.
