Clubbing clothes...
Are u a Phat pant wearer, or a dressed up rock star?
Personally couldnt give a shit, but well...this could be a fun thread.

usually i just got for a tshirt with a funny punchline on it and jeans with comfy dancing shoes......

I wear jeans and a top that i pick 2 secs before i leave.
I want to wear phatties cos they look fun but they also seem to have a stigma with them which screams 'raver' and sometimes that isn't good.
I wouldn't mind wearing a collared shirt but I am afraid I would look like the 30+ y.o. you see at gigs who can't dance and get scarier as the night goes on...
I like the mini-skirt and leg warmer combos - I think they look hot with tight tops!

Clubbing I usually go jeans or black slacks with a nice collar and button shirt, short or long sleeve depending on the weather and if I'm wearing a jacket. Black windsor smiths are a must.
Doofing I usually wear baggy pants with lots of pockets like 3/4s or cargos. No jeans or phatties. A funky tee with a cool catchphrase or logo. ( i want to get my acatr printed on a tee) Runners with little grip so I can shuffle around the dancefloor are a must or bare feet.

There's nothing wrong with toned down phats. Extremely comfortable.
It isn't the extra shit which makes them phats, it's the cut.
by toned down do you mean less the reflective tape, fluro colours and assorted candy?

You should really just go out wearing whatever you feel comfortable dancing in. People who worry too much about clubbing fashion (and this applies as much to the Saturday night @ Bubble crowd as the Saturday night @ Seven crowd) are probably going out for the wrong reasons.

i normally see aussies at raves wearin those phatties!! but they add spice to da event tho.. unless they off their then they just scary..
but i reckon jeans, shirt and my adidas tae kwon dos do the trick at clubs!!

So you can keep your stereotypes to a minimum.
But I agree that they add something to the events, its always fun to see what people have got on, it would be really boring and mundane without them IMO.
In reference to the topic, I wear phatties and a tee-shirt (event tee shirt, or comical message teeshirt or just bright stand-out-ish) and phatties, the same ones in that pic... as thats me if you didnt know.
usually just jeans and tshirt. my fav at the moment is an atari one that i made
once i borrowed my brothers phatties, they dont have any reflector stuff on them so its alrite. i liked having heaps of pockets thou
