Alt+F4 - Alt+F4

hmm just noticed this one was on ASOT 167 ...

i must say this track rocks... i've been playing it too much probably, i love it so much

9.5/10 !!

Posted by Frase on Sep-24-2004 02:24:

Just to clear this up for the little mp3 whore.

Alt+F4 has and will never been pressed to vinyl to this date.

The release groups are using 'promo vinyl' so they can look oh so 1337

Posted by djkoolaide on Sep-24-2004 02:24:

then explain to me how i have a perfect, PERFECT, and full copy of this song?

Posted by Nell on Sep-24-2004 02:25:

*i've deleted previous posts as it waffles about the mp3 release of the track (hence why the above might not make sense now).

good tune, to be released on Anjuna-Digital only at the moment.

Posted by djkoolaide on Sep-24-2004 02:33:

and also, since i seem to be an "mp3 whore" let me tell you something

mp3s make me wanna buy songs.

i do not have decks yet as i cannot afford them, but i will soon

and i am already stocking up on vinyls

i would not buy the vinyls i do buy if i hadn't heard the full un-interrupted mp3 of it... ASOT is bullshit if you wanna find out new tunes imo.. some songs dont even sound the same there as they do when you actually buy the song/download a proper rip.

because you downloaded it

it isnt rocket science tard

Posted by djkoolaide on Sep-24-2004 02:35:

you'd think that, but i can hear the vinyl crackling

dont start with the "they could have added that themselves"

if groups wanna be "1337", they would have labeled it promo cdr... cdr rips are better than vinyl, so of course they would call it that

i know for 110% fact that it hasnt been pressed to vinyl.

If you hear vinyl crackles then its been added.

however i can strongly guarentee that no vinyls of this tune has EVER gone to pressing

Posted by djkoolaide on Sep-24-2004 02:46:

and let us get back on topic... this is about the song, not about the rip

Posted by Frase on Sep-24-2004 02:48:

Trust me i know for 110% FACT that there hasn't been a vinyl pressing of this tune.

No matter what mp3 evidence you come up with i know for a certain fact, i would even bet my house on it that it hasnt been pressed

Posted by djkoolaide on Sep-24-2004 02:49:

Really?

Well, obviously I have no way to prove you wrong, but I'd like proof that it has NOT been pressed. Please.

errrr... i think frase had it before most people mate, he works for anjuna.

and that also explains how he knows it has not been pressed.

Posted by djkoolaide on Sep-24-2004 02:53:

OK guys, well thanks Anjuna for this awesome promo, whatever medium it is on.

Posted by djkoolaide on Sep-24-2004 02:54:

Also I have removed the clip as it is not relevant to this topic (well, kinda i guess)

well they didnt really release it to the mp3 crowds

However for your information, this will be released on AnjunaDigital for a whole 1 pound and 11 pence!!

Those who say they can't afford it, really need to look at their morals and values in life!!

Posted by djkoolaide on Sep-24-2004 03:00:

i never said i can't afford it.. in fact i planned to buy this tune if it was pressed on vinyl, but i have no reason to buy a cd as i want to start mixing on TTs, and get away from pcdj..

btw i think plenty of other people would buy this if it was pressed on vinyl.. it's a damn shame one of my fav tunes of the year

Posted by Dave Piazza on Sep-24-2004 04:37:

I love this tune but no vinyl release !!

Will it ever be on vinyl??

where and when can I buy the MP3?

rating

9/10

Posted by Jordan Stevens on Sep-24-2004 05:37:

mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm nachos..................

Posted by idoru on Sep-24-2004 05:42:

The tune is extremely over-rated, in my opinion. Yet another "omg fucking choon" played-out on ASOT. That, and the beginning sounds way too much like Binary Finary.

7/10

Typical Anjunabeats sound and that probably explains why I really don't like it.

frase, what is the quality of the anjuna digital downloads? are they to wav quality? or 192kbps?

Posted by djkoolaide on Sep-24-2004 13:57:

I really hope that for some reason there is a big demand for a Vinyl pressing of this... fuck buying an mp3 of this. It's the worst way to get a producer known.. DJs won't be able to play this tune out unless they use CD players..

FAQ From the Anjunabeats Shop...

Q //
Doesnt Windows Media Sound bad? Is the music going to be good enough quality?
A //
Some people are under the impression that Windows Media Files because of low rate streamed content they have heard on other websites. All AnjunaDigital files are encoded at the optimal settings with a 192kb/sec bitrate, meaning they sound virtually indistinguishable from the original master files. Above & Beyond have personally done extensive testing in studios & clubs around the world, chosen the settings and are confident about the high fidelity of these files. One reason why AnjunaDigital sounds better than the competition is also that all music is encoded directly from our masters from one of the finest mastering houses in the world, Masterpiece in London.
