Oh WHOAMG! Best chillout ever!

*in my opinion*

Robert Miles - 23am... this cd is just wonderful. Did I sometimes say Miles wasn't good? Well screw that, he's a GODDAMN GENIUS!

Freedom, Everyday life... they almost make me cry. Send shivers through my whole body!

Anybody got a different opinion?

my opinion is that all bacon should be served crisp in thick slices of bread

and if you mean musical opinion, ambient wise you can't go wrong with red jerry's euphoria album, plus some humate/michael woods/moonwatcher remixes of known tunes for a start

The best chilled album is Higher Intelligence Agency - Polar Sequences or Global Communication - 76:14

Mmm. crispy bacon. *drools*

As for 23am, it is ok but nothing too special IMO. There are many better chilled albums out there. Aphex Twin - Selected Ambient Works '85-'92, The KLF - Chillout still being a few of my favs. Also 76:14 which Andy mentioned, is damn good.

I bought this along with dreamland, thinking it would be the same. At first I listened to it and hated it with a passion (I felt ripped off) but now I can honestly say that I love the album (even more than dreamland) its definately relaxing to chill. Very good cd IMO.

I think ambient music is like that, it sounds stupid but you have to be in the right mood to listen to it, I bought some cds & never thought much until i listened during a sunset on a beach when in the balearics, and I just heard so much more there & then that I fell in love with some of the tracks

23 am is definatly one of my favourite albums, though not neccesarily chill-out. Its just music to me.

My fave track is either "A New Flower" or "Enjoy". Yeah I really like "Enjoy".

I really like Chicane - Behind the Sun for chillout but I will have to check out this one too. Thanks.

Chicane has got some really great stuff, Behind the Sun is gotta my favourite out of his albums. My personal favourite chillout album has got to be Blank & Jones - Relax, just amazing.

Yeah, you should. Robert is even better at weaving soundscapes than Chicane.
