Okay, so I searched for the release of this killer track on the boards and on Discogs and have had no such luck. Is this track going to be released and when?

pretty sure it was or will be released on Planetworks/Local Underground (Greece) as an EP along with a remix from almost every greek producer of the moment, i.e. Kosmas, Andrew K, Jose Zamora, et al. i just can't seem to find the date.

it is unlikely that this cd will ever be distributed outside greece.
there is a store though that sends worldwide : www.discobole.gr but I think they don't have a secure form for credit card (ie you have to call them or send number by email, etc)

ksilina spathia-o basilias tis skonis = the original tune!! FIRST ONE !! A greek Rock band made this tune

Viton & Stel- Wooden Swordz= Remake of Original tune but trancy and most of the vocals are out of the tune

and after that everyone started remixing the trance tune....

ok check this :

"ksilina spathia-o basilias tis skonis" is an old greek rock/pop song. Viton & Stel took samples (guitar and vocals) from this one and did "wooden swords" as a bootleg.

Instead of naming the track as "ksilina spathia-o basilias tis skonis (viton & stel remix)", they named it as "viton & stel - wooden swords (original mix)".

The samples were cleared and licensed, and track was released.

After that, we were asked to remix "wooden swords"

by the way, you are missing the detail that "wooden swords" is the english translation of "ksilina spathia", the original rock band name
