the start is quite push. but there are problems

Basic:

Put reverb and compression on the clap , most important is the pre-delay when using reverb.

build up layers of percussion through out your tune, leave a few layers which are energetic for the Main bit where the hole lot is playing.

Use Fx for transistions, and reversed, fxed, crashes/cymbals.

search and construct sounds which are unique compare them with the pro sounds. In reason , try applying unison to some of ur lead sounds or pads, and experiement with fx on them, like for chime bell thing, put unison on that and add reverb see what happens.

Fade in pads or make some sort complex transistion with fx so they dont come in so hard same goes for introducing any fat or complex main element (lead pad, strong synth).

arrangement is pretty good i think.

melody is not unique or intresting but its definatly not a bad melody.

Thanks silverstone for your feed back...really good points you provided...yeah, I think the melody could be better...

I don't like that kick & clap, it reminds me amateur basic samples from Fruity Loops. Also all parts of the perc are - in my opinion very poor.

However stringpads and arpeggio are good.

Silverstone telled you about wrong elemets of track... And I agree with him.

yeah, the percs could use a lot of revamping...I agree that the arpeggio is the only thing going for this track right now...but it's good to get feedback on the other stuff as well...thanks Lee

marcusk - I don't know what "revamping" mean. Could you explain me what does it word mean ?

Oh, revamping means to upgrade...I just meant that I had a lot of upgrading to do on my percs...

Silverstone's right. This track is a lot like a chilled out Push track.

The chimy thing seems to be really high-pitched. I'm all for high-end, but that just seemed to be pushing it.

Overall, it seems pretty standard, and the melody sounds like something you could hear on any other trance track, to be honest.

I'm not feeling your ending. I've only used the fade-out once if I recall correctly, and I've never used it again. My opinion is that you would follow that same path. I don't like fade-outs.
