I just heard the good news also. 40 is kind of steep, those bastids @World are making alot of $$$ that nite. Gotta check out Ticketmaster later.... the website couldn't confirm the date for Tiesto.

I think Ticket Master is kinda bad with dates anyway. As long as you have a ticket to World to see Tiesto then your all set.
I thought paying $35 to go see Pvd or Sasha & Digweed was harsh when in fact if they arent there, Twilo charges $25 admission to see anybody else on given nights. Twilo isnt the only club thats all about the money. Compared to what World is about to do with Tiesto, Twilo was pretty fair with admission if you ask me.

40 is way too steep for tiesto....esp bc it hasnt been confirmed that he will be spinning a lenghty set...oakie was 40 pre and he spun for 2 hours at world....if u bought a ticket the day he was spinning...which i did..it cost 75! what a freaking rip off bc it was only oakie...and then only hear him for two hours...and then him be preceeded by some unkown...please...if ur the headlining dj there shouldnt be anyone on after you. so just as a warning to you all...world doesnt do big afterhours...from what i understand they close around 5-6 am...so u might be paying to hear Tiesto for only 2 or 3 hours.......where is Twilo with the 35 admission to hear pvd spin for 6+ hours!!! that's freaking like 5 bucks or less an hour!

Where did u get this info from? Ticketmaster's site adverstising any tix for Oct 20th.

Hey Daphna..When i left Vinyl i picked up a flyer for World and it had Tiesto @ World Oct 20th across it and plus i posted a URL if you scroll up.
Its 4AM and i just got home from World. The system is like water but i highly doubt ill be there Oct 20th.
I wanna go see John Creamer @ Vinyl Oct 20th. Sandra Collind u'll be there also. Its $25 and World will probably be 21+ Oct 20th

Tough Call, haven't heard Creamer yet. Sandra Collins prolly won't even show up. I haven't been to World... I need a good dose of trance though. I'm definately hittin up Vinyl this sat. Danny Howells is gonna tear it up!

I used to really like Tiesto but right now I am debating whether I wanna pay 40 bucks for a 2-3 hour set of Lost Vagueness, Flesh, Diamondback, Prophet, Silence, Eugina and other old tunes. I am gonna start calling him Oakey soon. This will be a gametime decision.

Yea... Tiesto doesn't know when to let a record rest. He seems to think that Americans won't enjoy new & unheard trance. I saw him twice this year, and he played mostly known music. I hope he spins some new tracks... not ones from last year.

World was 21+ for Oakie...but if you had a ticket from tickemaster they didnt even check id...pretty sad. they also said proper attire but I saw plenty of people with sneaks and jeans on...even shorts. So I dunno what to tell ya...If you really wanna go buy a ticket...try and get in....but 40 bucks is alot to throw away if you cant get in!

And if people have so many complaints about his performance being repetative, then dont go see him. I mean it's not like your being forced....besides its your money, time and your own will your going by here...if you are anticipating that he will suck, then stay home. that's all.

Wow thanks for that wonderous insight there Caroline! I think we were just stating how we felt about Tiesto's recent sets and debating on whether or not to go....I don't recall any of us saying we were being forced against our will! But again, thanks so much! What would we do without your wisdom?!

The 19th Im flying to Miami to See Him at Space He probably wont come on there till 2. Ill post a message the next day tell you guys what he spun, how long and so on...............

The cool thing is I get to see him free, Space is basiclly free to get into plus i get to see Edgar V afterwards. Hopefully he will spin for at least 4 but not sure.

What are u talking bout? Space is NOT free. Getting comped is a diff story.
