First time outing....

Hi my fellow TX TA's. Hopefully next friday ill get to meet you guys at the Sasha event. It would be my first time so i have some questions i wounder some of yall could answer so i dont end up acting like a n00b at the event.

1. whats the normal dress code for events like this?
2. do you have to stand all night long or are there like tables that you can sit down or something?
3. how do you get the dj to sign stuff for you? do you meet up with them after? before? or do you bring it into the club with you? Im rather hesitant about the last option, wouldnt want to get into trouble or get my stuff stolen.
4. are camereas ok to bring with you?

1. dress code is whatever you want.. club 2401 is really laid back. so go casual if ya want. i would stay away from the baggy cargos and candy kid gear tho, just so people like me wont make fun of you

2. theres a few tables and stools around the perimeter of the dancefloor, and theres also an upstairs wall with benches to sit on. and dont forget about the patio if you need some air.

3. best way to get stuff signed is to bring ur stuff u want autographed with you. either hold onto it all night or find a safe place to stash it. find a friendly spundae member and i'm sure they'll be happy to hold it for you. or if you want, give it to me or alan and we'll get it signed for you.

4. still/digital cameras are fine, but no camcorders. i know i usually always have my camcorder but that's bc i asked permission first.

(you should get there as early as you can to avoid the longgggggggggggggggg line that will be sure to develop. also you can catch me and alan groovin on the decks for a bit.)

so i guess either slacks or carpenter jeans and a dress shirt is cool. good. i think i may show up to the pre dinner, still not sure though. and its good to know that i wont necessarily have to be standing the whole time.

It's not my first electronic show EVER, but it's my first one in Houston.

I moved to Austin, TX recently, & haven't met many trance addicts yet here. Before I went to the Paul van Dyk show on 9/22 I assumed there weren't any in Austin, & I'd never see Trance again without going back to California .

I was going to go to the Sasha show by myself (couldn't talk anyone into making Austin>>Houston trek), so it would be great to meet up with you'all.

I saw Sasha & Digweed spin at Coachella in '02, awesome set. & I've been loving Involver, especially tracks 3-6. I've even recently able listened to the jarring track 9, "Watching Cars Go By", without hitting fast forward.

It's a great track on it's own...just doesn't fit the vibe of the rest of the CD.
