k..well we Have Sean Kussick, Richie Hawtin aka plastikman, Bad Boy Bill and who else?

There is a big DJ small club in Nov, and my bet is deep dish(check deep dish thread in TO forum) and Keith is sayin that an event bigger than Nick Warren/Way out West..so who is it? Is it gonna be Danny Howells? Cuz Keith is sayin he might come too...so what do you all think?

yeah iv'e heard about all those peeps comin, i'm lookin forward to seeing sean cusiak next week at escape, but as for the big dj small club i have no idea. but iam going to be doing some promo work with keith so maybe he'll fill me in! either way i hope it's a sweet trance dj, cause we got enuf progressive dj's comin this month and next, so we'll have to just wait and see. it would be cool if it were armin as he is in the country around that time and the 18th is a sunday so maybe it will be a synergy event, armin is a long shot but hey i can dream can't i! anyways keith knows what peeps want so i'm sure it'll be a good show.

Ya keith needs to bring a good trance dj for this bid dj small club event. If keith is saying it will be a bigger event then nick warren jody wisternoff then it should be one hell of a party cause way out west was fucking unbelievable. I guess we'll just have to wait for some more info.

A trance DJ would be nice, but I think its Danny Howells...how sweet Armin would be..

on the other hand, weve never had a big trance DJ really(other than oakey) Dont you think keith(and defstar) could make a killin on bringin PvD, Tiesto, Armin or someone of the like. Ive had enuf with all the prog djs!!

Defstar would make a killing bringing tiesto or pvd or armin van buuren. Calgary really does need a trance dj. Hopefully keith will realize what a crowd pleaser tiesto and pvd r and hopefully we will see at least one of them by the new year

i really need to see a big name dj... so far some of the biggest names i've seen are max graham, judge jules, and sandra collins and the like...
we need some of the big names in, i will definatly but my ticket as soon as they go on sale
i really hope keith brings in someone like tiesto or mauro picotto

yeah, I think Keith could make a killin on a big DJ that everyone knows...I mean, jules made them alot of $$$, why? Cuz people who arent in the scene know who he is and come. All of us 400 calgary 'ravers' can sustain the entire scene, we need somebody big..real big to bring some more people in!!

Im not to sure about the $$$ thing with jules. I had heard the palace had lost thousands of dollars and i hope it was the palace that did and not defstar. Calgary has been very lucky with the people that weve seen. Nick warren and jody were fucking awesome!! Chris L is always good for a fun night! we all no that max just keeps getting better everytime. Guy ornadel had a wicked set just no one was there to enjoy it!!(yall missed out) But calgary would go crazy if tiesto were to spin here it would be a night the palace would not forget. And even if keith couldnt get it at the palace the best place would be pandemonium because i would love to see tiesto in the glass tube spinnin it would be awesome he would be so close. Well ne wayz only time will tell who and where these evenst will be. But i now ill be there regardless.

i get sick of hearing peeps say trance is gay, build-ups are a waste of time,trance id fluffy music re:anti-trance-terrorist on def-star message board (you guys know what i'm talking about) but the fact is that if a good trance dj came to calgary these type of people would come anyways cause they know the party will be off the hook and the club will be packed. but then they bitch about followers and trendy dj's and dj's with no style! fuck off! i don't see how someone who is a fan of trance does'nt like progressive or hard-house, or someone who likes progressive does'nt like trance, makes no sense to me.
i like electronic music period. can't stand d&b,jungle,techno,or happy hardcore but that's different they're in a totally different style of music, but to me trance & progressive can give equally good parties (i prefer more uplifting) but i also think it all boils down to the dj and the way he controls the crowd, i don't know about anyone else but i hate when dj's are all serious and never smile or notice the crowd, that in my opinion is essential, any dj can play music but not every dj can totally control the party. i like feeling as if the dj is playing for me and my friends not just for money, so to make an already long story short def-star needs to book a fan favourite dj, we need a dj to play to us so we can party right back at him! what do you think?

yea, its danny howells..I figured it out when Keith asked around then just dropped the subject...I was hopin that it would be somebody more interesting...but its not

I agree with Tuss tho..we need someone who interact, that was the bomb ass part of the Jules and any Max show. they were soo into it. Same with Bad Boy Bill...

maybe they should bring crunchie and mayhem back from e-town to tag team all night..they kicked @ss at summerdayze, so did mark thomas..hmm..oh well..we need some quality DJs, and since im keiths pic guy now, ill try to talk to him, bring some one else in.

BTW defstar made close to 10000 on the jules show, and cash on the Chris sheppard and Darude events, but they lose money on most everything else.
And Imperial Brothers brought Guy Ornandel for slinky 3..anyclue when #4 is?

i know one of these dj's tall paul/ danny howells is gonna be at escape which kinda sucks cause they'd both be better at the pal.
and slinky 3 w/ guy ornadel was more like slinky pee, nobody was there and the decor was weak just a bunch of dumb banners saying slinky nothing special at all, except for guy's set it was a right blinder mate ,haha so yay now i got some shit to look forward to in this boring ass city, just hope there's a fuckin crowd this time for fucks sake! oh shit i just noticed that tall paul is playin in e-town that sucks ass, peeps up there are kinda dull sometimes (no offence)
the only time they were'nt was for tiesto there last feb that rocked.
oh well i'll probably make the trip to trip haha jk.

yeah i'd have to agree with you that's a pretty striaght forward hint that the dj is gonna be black, so that means probably carl cox but fuck i don't really like him that much, lucien foort would be so much hyper, oh well i'm gonna try my best to go either way, whether that's chill around the shadow lounge to make sure i'm one of the first 200 or whatever that get in free or maybe i can get hooked up with some passes somehow.
