PS: turns out my swedish exam is in 10 days!
i managed to get a copy of an old one...gonna have to learn:

1 - directions (how to give em on a map)

2 - Reading comprehension (2 paragraphs, later with questions)

3 - Q&A (Kan du spelar piano? Nej Jag spela gitar)(I miss my guitar)
4 - Prepositions/Adverbs/Adjectives/Nouns (-or, -na, -r, etc...)

5 - Identifying (describe a picture more or less)

6 - Word order in sentences
(r,st, vldigt, du, = du r vldigt st)

7 - History : Gustav Wasa, Applefestival, Ice hotel, blah blah

Sweden is the second best country on earth to live in according to some investigation. Sweden is great and I love it !!!

When it comes to EDM-clubbing life Sweden is pretty much like a desert but the parties we have is really good cause we're not exactly spoiled with them. In Sweden people like rock, R'n'fukkin'B and other popular music that is repeated on the commercial radiostations.
I belive it's pretty much like in the US relate our countries.

I live in the very north where polar bears walks on the street and wolves climbs on the roofs, so I can't help you to find any decent trance in smland, I'm sorry

And yes, Sweden is the best place to live, was it after Norway? lol
My sister lives in Jnkping, but I don't think she likes trance. I could ask tho, but I doubt she knows any decent place where they play trance, heh.

We have a few SWETAs from Jnkping but I hardly ever see them here anymore...

These are the people I know are from Jnkping
Jre, Dioxys, jeremy1984

Go to Amsterdam Its not that far from denmar.. erm, Skne i meen

Tranceclubber.com have some events, donno if its in Skne they are, but i think so?

Dont miss the Lucia Cruise btw

BTW: By "Satisfaction", do you meen Benny Benassis tune?! Thats _almost_ trance ffs! I'd be thrilled if they played that.. its _almost_ over 100bpm!! Here in northern sweden the "replay dance mania" (Normal tunes that they've melted cheese on and made into crappy "trance" (eurodisco? ) ) tunes almost feels like hardcore... its scary.

Always the same djs at the clubs here... they even play the tunes in the same order; First goes HighWay to hell, some rock tune. Everybody starts playing "air guitar" and shaking their head like mofos. After that, GREASE! There is no tune thats worse!! Of course, everybody does the stylish dance with it. Then the DJ starts feeling a bit confident and turns on "huvud axlar kn och t" with 10% pitch, everybody think thats reeeeeeeeaaalyyyyyyyyy funny and starts doing that dance aswell. "HAHAHAHA so _crazy" THen its USHER! yeaaaaaahhhhh.................. even a few of the regular mofos is tired of that. After that > a bangin finale with Twisted Sister - I want to rock. Thats normally when we leave and decides to NEVER visit this place again. (Two weeks later the optimism is on top and were on our way there again... ).

Well I did my military service in Lule and the people up there consider everthing below Pite as Skne
Exept from Stockholm that they call Fjolltrsk...

(There's alot of small towns up in norht Sweden that has the word trsk their names which means marsh, the word fjoll = sissy... in other words they think us Stockholmers are sissys )

Posted by Smeagol on Sep-30-2004 09:43:

And in Skane everything north of Helsingborg is Lappland, coverer with two kilometers of ice and inhabited by polarbears and pinguins. Sweden is a very long country.

there is a cosy little thing in Lund (skane) every month.
amnesia
if you bother to go there. And the new gorgeous follow-up in copenhagen?
If someone happen to know anything near Turin please tell me.

Perhaps it's true... no actually it's probably the opposite here... people are more down to earth and mellow out in the countryside among the cows 'n shit....

Posted by St_Andrew on Sep-30-2004 20:58:

Hahaha, i soo know what you mean man! i used to live in a city with a quite non existant trance scene. I dont really know anyone that really likes the music they plays in the clubs. it feels like if the music is silly enough and people are trashed enough, they enjoy it.

Sweden doesnt have country though, so thats a good thing at least!

true, the problem with north america though is that quite a lot of people actually listen to it in our age

Heja Swedish hijack!

As for the music, I can only offer you the advice of hooking up with Ryan Air or the x2000 and getting your ass to Europe for the drugs or music, if not you need to wait. Sweden has some interesting music - I had not heard Billy Ocean - Get Out of My Car (Get In to My Car).

There is no excuse there, but I managed to entertain myself. Plus the country is quite entertaining if you meet the right people!

Posted by policerobots on Oct-01-2004 08:25:

lol
got an example right here
i listen to a little bit of country
dont get me wrong i cant stand the REAL "redneck" songs
some of the songs are beginning to sound more "mainstream" now...the videos are having scantily clad girls now too
