Tower Records in Dallas

hey guys.. yesterday i went to Tower Records in Lemmon Ave.

The selection of electronic music is quite good. Not as good as the online places, but they had new released albums and singles and the best part is that you don't have to wait for them to be delivered.

I don't know many other places around the area to buy EDM. Tower Records gave me a good shoping experience and let me listen to the cds before paying for them..

What do you think about this place, has anyone got better places???

That's funny I was in there at 9pm last night shopping around for CD singles and some records. Ended up walking about with another CD book to store my CD-Rs. I ended up going to ecco lounge afterwards but we probably crossed paths and never noticed lol

I've not been in there but I'll have to check it out. May be a stupid question but, do they sell vinyls there also?

Yea, I need to check that place out. I live right by there and still haven't been.

I went there with a friend of mine a while back. They had the CDs, but not the vinyl. Unless if you're into cheese or big name productions, you won't find much in the vinyl department.

Yea, I think we talked about that before - living a block from Manhattan Bar.... That's crazy how close we are.

You should go check out All Time Party Time, nice selection of tunes and they WILL let you listen to the vinyls pre-purchase. Bring your own headphones though or they'll ask for $1 to rent a pair. Link Here

You are not joking there my friend...what a dissappointment. I really miss the Noon and Five O'clock mixes; at least it was a chance to hear some different tunes in the mix. Now they just have Britney Spears n Nelly n Beyonce on repeat.

Yep. And their whole thing used to be "we will never play rap like those other guys". Now, thats all I hear on there. And yea, I really miss the mixes, those were great.
