tired of the bashing wannabe elitest hoes

im tired of how this site and several threads are commonly ruined due to critical assholes that think they are the shit. get over your fucking self and stop bashing people for their fucking opinions and instead use your knowledge of music to spark a nice form about music. get a life people

Either skip over those posts, or (to be blunt), shut up and leave.

stole this pic from someone else, but I am currently loving it:

Well this is a placed called TA and yes there ARE a lot of ppl with opinions that are sometimes VALID in terms of so called critical analysis of tracks.

If these 'critical assholes' can back up their argument then so be it.

If you don't like it then don't read the threads or just ship out

Posted by sigmanova on Sep-30-2004 01:43:

hehe inb4dalock

and to add, yes people's opinions are opinions, as one person put it, "they are not inherently true or false"...obviously there will never be full agreement between everyone on something, so just get over it and move on

I agree! Everyone here is always trying to be the trendiest, hippest, most elite piece of shit by trying to act like they know about everything and they're so prog and all this other bullshit, while they make fun of people like me that like "cheese" trance as you call it, while I call it euro trance and most other non-ignorant fucks do also. If it's trance, then just appreciate it and don't make fun of people for it! We all have the love of trance in common so why do you have to make a fucking hierachy according to if someone likes either Sasha or in my case Fragma? Does that make me less of a trance fan? No. I've liked trance since 1999, I always will and it means a lot to me. It's fucking bullshit to make me feel like I don't deserve to be a fan just because I don't fucking worship Sasha or Paul van Dyk or Tiesto, but I am just as big as a fan of Fragma, Orion Too, Kelly Llorenna as some of you are of YOUR favorite trance artists. Why can't you just accept that not everyone is going to like the same shit as you? Don't you notice that nobody who likes the type of trance I do (euro, "cheese") is in this elitist group? Hmm?

Well everyone is entitled to their own opinion.
Sometimes ppl are just taking the piss.
I find this extrmely childish that some ppl then get offended by this and start causing a commotion, getting shattered and acted as if the sky had just collapsed on them.

I mean seriously, grow the fuck up

Posted by Mr.Mystery on Sep-30-2004 03:02:

Oh no, someone is calling me names and disagrees with me on the internet! My ego is totally shattered!

Cant say I agree with this. Plenty of them slag off on hip-hop all the time. And shall I bring up the infamous country & western genre?

When it comes down to it, all genres have good songs underneath the thick skin of the commercial shit put out solely for making the $$. I theorize that the thickness of the skin is relative to the age of the music.

Posted by Halcyon+On+On on Sep-30-2004 03:34:

Hmm, I guess some people on TA seem a bit juvenile in their opinions - the many off-topic posts in this thread only serve that notion. Inb4dalock? wtf is that? You post that at the beginning of people's threads automatically discrediting what they have to say? Whatever happened to shutting the fuck up?

People will love their music - in a way, they take ownership of it, they relate to it, they connect with it, they are expressed by it. We're all here because we see something deeper within the music, right? When you have that sort of passion, people will tend to disagree a lot more - it's just healthy human nature to make war, whatever the scale is (internet forum, middle east, etc...) Just take EVERYHTING on the internet with a grain of salt and you will be fine

As a side note, I love epic trance. Just thought I'd let everyone know.
