IPOD vs ZEN TOUCH
I need to decide which one I should buy!
- according to one test I read about itquote: The only thing that really sets them apart is the battery life and amount of accessories available

VS
What are your thoughts about it?
i pod has xball built into it.
get that.
I'm sorry I can't recommend either of the two, as I've never used either one.
I CAN, however, recommend the Rio Karma! 20Gb, great battery life, etc... very solid little mp3 player!

it has a good battery life, that's pretty much all the reviews that i've read about it have said in the good column. (The sony one)
iPod
ohh, you should Defenitely get the Zen!! I have the Nx and its just great, a bit big someone say, but it plays mp3's, it got EAX too
24hours of battery is quite alot, Ipod got only 8... And Touch is Much cheaper. The size of the touch compared to the other zens is smaller, which is nice...

I have a ipod and it sucks for battery life.
The Iriver H320 . This little beauty outdoes them all although they are more expensive and hard to get hold of in certain places.
Personally i've got a nomad zen xtra 60gb and its great!

| Originally posted by diffusion But you are missing the point, the reason why I only mentioned those two players are because of their price range!!! The IRiver is $680USD, and that's just too much for a player. The Zen Touch and Ipods are ~$340USD, which is half the price! (Rio Karma as well) So meant the thread to be about these two/three players, in that range, not all other sorts of players! ![]() However, I've read *alot* of reviews now, and it seems that everyone thinks that the Ipod has got shitty battery-life. That's kinda the point of having it, to use it! So no Ipod for me. I think I'll go for the Zen Touch, unless I can find a Rio Karma. peace out |
ipods don't have the best bettery life but ohter than that it is pretty amazing I have had one for a couple fo years now and love it.
I actually got my Rio Karma off of Amazon.com for only $240 - apparently they had an overstock at the time or something and they gave me a speshul price
Bu tthis isn't just me bragging... it's an extremely solid little player with lots of nice features and I *think* Amazon sells it for $279. I'd recommend it. ^.^
iriver is class, but i do understand the difference in price between scandinavia and the US. my old Swedish roomie was thinking about having me ship him and iriver from US ebay to save money...i think he picked something else up tho-
The iPod is better than everything, if you don't consider cost a factor.
