Good cases for mixer, turntables, etc.
Hi guys. I am in the process of buying all of my DJ equipment, and was wondering who makes good cases for storing/moving technic mk5gs, allen & heath xone 92 linear mixer, and 100 vinyls?
Cheers,
Keith
You could try Guitar Center, etc...
I was considering getting them online - but here's the problem: any savings you get are pretty much lost on shipping costs (they're huge because the cases are so heavy!)
So if you can find a relatively decent deal *locally*, go for that.
As for particular brands/makes, sorry can't help you there
Edit:
Sorry just realized you're not in the States, so Guitar Center probably won't apply
Location: New York City
Yeah, I'm talking about brands.

Oh come on... no one can help?

I use Swan flight cases for all of my stuff. I find them reliable and they do the job.
Cheers

IMO your best bet would be to do alittle research on sites that sell cases, check out the reviews on various brands and if you can find them locally get go for them.
im needing to know the same, need cases bad
i recently bought the Odyssey blpbp50x record backpack and even though i got it at a huge discount i would have had no problem paying the full $130 for it as its easilly one of the toughest built backpacks ive laid my hands on. very well made, so im guessing Odyssey would put as much into their cases.
www.odysseygear.com if you wanna check em out
they might be pricey but there are all sorts of deals online, yea you might have to pay a bit for shipping but usually it's worth it as local stores dont always have what you're looking for and ordering it online gives you alot more choices and variety so you usually get what you want but for a few days waiting
you can do a compare online through www.froogle.com
type in whatever you're shopping for (preferably the model #) and it'll give you results for sites and best prices
^Cheers
use flight cases for the tt's. they are much easier to deal with than a bulky coffin.
