a quick driving poll
with all these driving topic, I thought I'd ask this
2 hands... push & pull steering is the only way!
One hand - its the cool way to drive.
I use one hand for everything, not because it's cool, but because it's easier. The thing is, I took my mother somewhere today and she said; using one hand is very vulgar (esp. if with a girl). The gf doesn't care, but maybe she doesn't want to bother me?
what do the ladies say?
Well considering I drive a standard car... Most of the time i only have one hand on the wheel, however when I'm turning I use both..
I don't care if my b/f drives with one hand or two, makes no difference as long as I feel safe.. Which is also a rare occurance for me. I have a hard time with being a passenger.. I like to be in control
hand? christ Im lucky if Ive got 3 fingers on the wheel...its all about the knees.
You guys are crazy... I'm surprised nobody else uses 2 hands...
I drive a 6-speed as well, and the only time I don't have two hands on the wheel is when I'm shifting gears.

i actually drive worse with two hands on the wheel cuz my hands get tired and i get annoyed/distracted...
even on highway, unless theres something going on or its hard turn i go 1 hand at 6 oclock...

One or two depending on the speed and conditions.
I usually use two except when i change gears
the best and most talented i've been in the car with is:
driving standard, lighting a cigerette, talking on the cellphone, putting the auto windows down, drinking a coffee. and making a left turn. all relatively in the same time frame
thats either skill, or stupidity...i haven't quite decided yet.
