Digital Camera question
I recently got Sony Cyber-shot DSC-P41 Digital Camera. I'm wondering what batteries i should buy that last a bit longer, and what's a good battery recharger? I'm not looking to spend over 40-50 $. Thanks.
Check at target they have Energizer rechargable battery + charger packs pretty cheap ( compared to getting the same item at best buy and such ).
If you look you should be able to find a model that runs with an external ac adapter .. Major ++ .. that means the charger runs on 12 volts and you can go to like radio shack and pay 5 bucks for a dc car cord that will work with the item and then be able to recharge batteries in your car
Here are some reviews

I used to be against the propriatary batteries that come with cameras nowadays, but the one on my Poweshot G6 is great. Lasts about 300 shots.

The higher the mAh on the battery, the longer it will last. I had some Energizer 2100mAh recharchable AA batteries with my old camera, they would last a full two days with no flash, while regular batteries (one use) would quit after like 3 hours
So look for that. It usually says it on the battery and the package.
yea recharchable batteries are great.
i bought a digital camera a month or so ago (olympus d565)
and immediately within 2 days i bought 4 NiMH batteries and a recharger at walmart for about $22, found some decent 2300 mah ones. i believe you can now buy them in 2400. pretty damn great deal. i have probably saved an arm+leg so far on batteries.
AA batteries is just great, but "unfortenately" I have Lithium (spelling?) myself, it does last for a good 300+ shots with blitz of course
Now Im currently drooling on a Fujifilm Finepi S7000 (ahhh) It got Xd cards as wells, which fits me perfectly since I have 128*2 and 16. Its damn cheap too I tell you, "only" 680 $
