Overwhelming Emotion

I was listening to "Shpongle - Around the World in a Tea Daze" before I was going to go to sleep like 2 days ago and I had my headphones on and I was watching the milkdrop visualization in Winamp and the singing (sounds like the guy is talking in Arabic but I don't really know) of the guy, not the first time he sings but the second time when the song kind of climaxes and the pitch of the voice kind of goes hire and the music leads up to that part, well anyways I was listening to it and we've always had threads on "what track made you cry" and what not and when the singing came and the climax it was just so incredibly intense it was like the tears just poured from my eyes, it was the strangest thing, I wasn't sad and I didn't even feel it come but when that climax came it's like somebody just sprayed me with water it was just completely involuntary, I don't think a track has ever done that to me, well close, but not like this, this just pierced my soul, my god what a track. anyone else had this happen to them with a particular track (no drugs involved by the way)

That's why we're here... trance addicts

Don't think a track has ever gotten to me like that, but I've definitely gotten shivers down my spine. Not to mention feel really uplifted at times... yummm...

I've never actually cried from a track, but Autumn Tactics always made me a bit emotional.

After 9/11 I was listening to "Castles in the Sky" and it got me a bit. And Circ - Destroy She Said made me a little emotional given the 9/11 incident and it's context.

Autumn Tactics, is a great one for that. Same here never really cried but Plastic Boy - Silver Bath's climax Always seems to send shiver down mine spine. just a full release its more then my brain can cope with. I just love it. Nothing when a track does that to you

One track did that for me once too...I was very surprised, it just came out of nowhere. It was:

Kristine Blond - Love Shy (Electrique Boutique Rmx)

Shed a mini tear once, when pvd played Midway - Inca. Not sure why but it was an awesome night. Maybe it was the dust.

I once sat on the edge of my swimming pool just watching the huge clouds roll by in the distance. I was listening to Ayla's "Ayla" watching the distant lightning illuminate the night sky with an infinite amount of purples. It was at that moment I realized exactly what I wanted in life. To just live. Whatever it meant - whatever living was, I just wanted it so bad. I wanted to define myself through this whirlwind of energy... I wanted to be whatever "ayla" was and I wanted to be with her. Her being the person whom I suspect I love. This energy overwhelmed me, but I was never afraid of it - I did not let out a tear, for I knew a beauty beyond mere reveling in the vision which is God. This experience made me realize that I want to be defined by another person... a girl - I guess it's what you call love, but that seems a bit presumptuous on my part

I never cried by hearing a track...

But there's one particular track that always sends shivers up and down my spine.....

De openingstrack of Tiesto live@Innercity '99: 'Universal Nation' by Push. The special thing about this track is the fact that it is a live recorded version of U.N. and the sound of it silently goes stronger and stronger and louder....and than an awesome bass got added....

james holden - nothing (93 returning mix)
live

it KILLED me

i was hooked on the track, and was visiting some friends
and oakenfold happen to come while i was there
and he dropped this towards the end of his set
needles to say, i wasn't expecting it
it hit me hard, under the circumstances, but beautifully so

also, the same thing happened almost two months ago, except this time the dj was scott bond and the track Orkidea - Requiem

good times.

Autumn Tactics has always been one of the biggest rollback songs for me ever. The chill mix is rediculously atmospheric|

I'll admit that tune's made me cry...

It's my all-time favourite tune, for the reason that if I hear it at the right time it's such a powerful tune, build up is amazing, the breakdown gives me shivers, the climax when the trademark MIKE synth comes in is just overwhelming, a mixture of feeling really emotional and uplifted and so much more. The rest of the track just brings a big smile to my face and gets me dancing. Shame I don't get that effect every time I hear the tune, but for when I do, I love the tune

That's the main tune I can think of that physically affects me.
