whats up all need some feedback on a track im workin on

it would be nice if:

- it didn't copy and mutilate the melody "faded 4am" in fl studio
- had more strings and pads
- had more progression
- had some actual hi hats

I take it that you're just starting, so its all good. The song has a nice techno feel to it actually. I also suggest:

- reading some mastering tutorials here
- reading some sound creation tutorials here

Yea it does sounds techno...try to add some stuff to it...The beat..is really bad imo..and where the hell is the bass? lol..GET SOME BETTER HIGH HATS...and like Euler said..read some tuturiols..you'll get better

BTW changed the lead was using the faded one untill i came up with one i liked

You need to improve on every aspect, can you not see that yourself? I don't think anyone will be able to provide any specific feedback. Leave posting on this forum til later - for now, start reading as many tutorials as you can and teach yourself production.

I totally agree. It sounds a bit plain. Needs to be filled out more.
