i made this song earlier this year for the remix competition, but i had only done a vocal mix of it and i had some requests for a dub version, so today i went searching on my hard drive and found the old project and took out / modified some of the vocal parts to make a dub mix.

your remix was great, but like all the remixes of young parisians JTNT for example, when every remix uses the vocals, and really just uses them, it gets tirin and you lose interest.

hopefully this track is greater for losing them! (i'm not knocking the vocals, they are good, just would be nice to have ONE dub out of the lot!)

Where the original only makes sense because of the vocals you show us that it doesn't need vocals to be good!

Really good feeling with that breakbeat, full of energy.

The melodic elements seem to be a little subdued, or something.....or is that the intention of a dub. Comes a live toward the end, though.

I never liked the original, so nothing else to add really.

Production it nicely done....

I think I like the dub mix better than the 1st one you remixed. Like you said you can hear other parts of the music without the vocals.

yep love this mate, manages to be chilled and emotional but uplifting at the same time. brilliant i love this stuff.

one thing i'll say thou is it likes a little bit of energy when it kicks back in because kick needs to be louder i think.

but other than that its great

something different which is what i like

Holy cow! This mix is AMAZING! Im currently listening to it for the 5th time man! I gotta give it to youm this is the only oceanlab - satellite mix i ever liked, i cant stand the original. This song isnt like blaring but yet it is. So awsome! 2 tumbps up!
