Gabriel & Dresden @ Burbon St. Jacksonville/FL

It was a fun night, i met a good few tas. Some i knew, some i just knew from the board. I was suprised at to how it turned out. It wasnt exactly a packed event like space during wmc, but we were right in front of g&d the whole time. It seemed if they were having fun, god knows i tried to make everyone have a good time.

One bad thing about events in jville are ex girlfriends showing up behind you trying to dance with you. But thats a whole nother story, i'm just glad i got some trance talent coming to my city. God knows ive been posting here a long time waiting for it!!

Overall the TAs did represent hard, it was cool seeing flo there as we hadnt clubbed together in a while. I wish i could of thrown a afterparty for everyone but i didnt feel up to it myself nor had a good enough place to throw a proper one. I'll make it up to everyone once i pay off my car :]

hell yeah bobby, good seeing ya again! its been too long! cynthia, greg, phil...i love you guys, you're the reason i came, i had such a good time! danny, you rule for the ride, i'm so grateful! had such a good time, hopefully we'll have plenty more

they also layered the vocals from some track (i think from missy elliot's lyrics) over coldplay - clocks??? i DEF heard the clocks melody, but it was only in the background, and i'm not the only one that heard it
two annie lennox tracks were played too i think, but i dunno which ones

there were more i recognized but i couldnt id, or i forgot by now, maybe someone else will know

all in all, g&d played an AWESOME set in a not so awesome venue...lol. after the show we tried to talk to dave and josh and the security forced us out. we lied to them telling them our ride was talking to g&d and we needed to wait for them, and they still didnt care. assholes. they also shut down 15 minutes prior to 2am?? wtf??? whatever...G&D OWNED anyway!!!!! $1.50 drinks on everything was awesome too

yeah that about sums it all up, and i am so fuckin tired that even if it didnt sum it up, i wouldnt add anything. either way, it does, so i'm about finished...

what a fun night! Although the turnout was small, it was great hanging out with old TAs and new oh! and 1.50 anything drinks RULES!! It really sucked getting shoved out the door before we could really talk to G&D but whatever.. a good time was had by all!

-Rizzo and Kelly... you guys are great roadtrip buddies, cant wait to hang out more often!

The hip hop song that was layered over CLOCKS was the MILKSHAKE song (kelis)
i cant believe no one mentioned that they played the G+D mix of No one on Earth.... i think i called almost everyone during that song!
I believe one of the Annie Lennox songs they played was Pavement Cracks...
other than that i think Flo mentioned most of the tracks i can remember...

Awesome night!!!!! G&D were great and it was an all around fun show to be at...Josh and Dave were getting into all of the tracks....it was good to meet some of the ta's....im sure i will see more of you guys in the future....anyway most of the tracks have been id'd but they did play

Yea i remember telling flo that the milkshake song was cheese. But when ur in jacksonville florida theres no such thing. It was the best electronic mix of that song ive heard tho.

yes a great set by G&D. i was totally shitfaced due to the $1.50 drinks. that pics of me double fisting is great. im in like almost all of those pics rockin the TA trucker hat. and of couse my new clubbing glasses that somehow got broken on the passenger seat of my car on the way home, of well, i guess ill have to get another pair of cheap glasses. ive got a few pics also that i will post tomorrow. a really good group pic of some of the TAs with Josh and Dave is in there too.

Greg and Cyn- A hreat time as always, lookin forward to this weekend now that greg reminded me of it.

Flo- Wow dude, totally random of you to show up and it was great to party with you again, we need to get you a car so you can come to more shows.

I'm glad you enjoyed it man, it was definately a small turnout but the people who were there obviously knew thier shit. I think half the croud i knew from TA or from town.

As far as hotties go, come out to the beach on a sat. night and your neck would get broken!! Problem is 75% are stuck up and 95% dont listen to electronic music.
