Elixir v`s Timefactor feat Paul Mendez ‘Combustion’ *UPDATED*

After a lot of late nights and several different versions, I’m chuffed to bits to announce my debut production named ‘Combustion’ by Elixir v`s Timefactor, co-produced with one of the worlds most prolicic trance producers, Paul Mendez, is now complete.

Paul’s previous productions have been signed to some of the worlds greatest trance labels such as Bonzai as Exposure, ID&T as Jacob and Mendez, Captivating Sounds / Armada as Morpheus, as well as producing with the likes of Svenson and Gielen, playing regularly at Scotland’s Room At The Top, and on Beat 106 and Stevie and I are supremely grateful for his help.

A big smiley face to everybody who has given their advice, levelled their criticism and shared their experience with us and to everybody who has wished us success. With certain plans hidden under wraps for now, this will hopefully be set for big things!

Needless to say i'll be thrashing the full version on my weekly show Euphoric Horizons as well at PASSION on November 6th!

The sample sound really good. It's a bit too empty so adding a couple of layers wouldn't hurt. The lead after the break is really nice.

i like how the second part is totally different from the first part.

i'm guessing this is not the mastered version, as the track could use a bit more punch to sound really massive. nevertheless, that break could do some serious damage on the dancefloor.

Thanks guys. Theres some changes still to be made, and of course running it off a fat system will make a huge difference. Ie, levels need touching up.

I don't really appreciate the lead synth but the drums are correct, and the acid line is good.

Thanks mate! Its hard getting the balance between making it complex enough to sound interesting yet keeping it simple enough to sound original. Know what I mean?

We've changed some sounds around now and its now a 3 minute version in 192 quality. Thanks for the feedback so far! Any more? Looks like this is how its going to be

... (except 8 minutes long rather than 3 of course!)
